We have had the most delicious fall weather this October and I’m just trying to appreciate it every day. No rain, cold temps in the morning, followed by blue skies and that sunny crispy feeling in the afternoon but not overly warm. I’ve been just soaking it all in 🍂

(I’ve been combing my local paper archive for *years* trying to find an opening/closure annoucement, hiring notices for clothing stores around that time etc. and the only local article was about its closure and used a weird combo of words for the address!)

Normally I’m really excited about October 1st but one of my kids woke me up at 4:30 this morning, I’m getting over a cold, and I promptly spilled half of a $7 pumpkin spice coffee on myself and had to turn around and change my clothes/scrub my car so yeah … Happy October ! 🎃

Halfway through a S1 rewatch of the 90s Canadian tween drama Ready or Not, and damn I had forgotten how good it is. They don’t make stuff like this anymore. Closest we’ve had is The Babysitters Club and that had huge acclaim and then was immediately cancelled and didn’t spark more similar content😭

I don’t know how grocery stores can retain customers if they keep locking stuff up — like this is why I (annoyingly) buy so much online? Needed a 4 pack of C batteries and it took someone 20 minutes to comes unlock the case and they seemed annoyed at me. How is this worth it?
