Reference sheet for Purgatory, Vengeance of the Caged Bird, Morganaux's lightwarden/primal form. In both forms, he takes the form of a humanoid seraphim wearing all white with gold accents, with not a hint of his usual pink color palette to be seen. Gone are his Elezen-shaped ears, replaced by small ear-shaped angel wings. Surrounding his head is a golden halo, and in his hair is a gilded rose with thorny vines. In his hand is a angelic-themed grimoire called the Word of Grace, and his eye is sewn shut by the red string of fate, which makes a heart-shaped loop that connects with his pinky finger. From the eye that is sewn shut leaks blood resembling molten gold, and his exposed thighs appear to have cracks in them.

In his second form, his angelic wings have been torn away, replaced by a pair of blue and purple wings resembling a church's stained glass windows. His clothes appear to be tattered, and on his thighs he has sustained two slash wounds, filled up with gold.

In place of his faerie is a throne (biblical angel) known as Love of the Mother. She possesses wings much like Morganaux's faerie, and at the center of her many rings is a single golden eye. Hmm. I wonder where that came from.

In the background is Ishgard seen from a distance, the skies aglow with light everlasting, much like on the First.
