I do, and because I've looked at your cat, you should look at most of my cats enjoying a corner.

@scully1888.bsky.social This bait and switch got me good and I laughed a lot. Excellent work.

This is a regular visitor to our garden. She's cooling herself off in the hot weather.

A female blackbird stood on a water bowl with her mouth open to cool down

That's so kind, thanks!! I'll see how I get on but may take you up on that.

Matt Elms @pastebutty.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Sounds perfect. I've already created and account and whatnot, and I've just set daily reminder to click me into the habit.

Matt Elms @pastebutty.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

I need to get on this ive been on the edge for a while. I have about 45 mins of doomscrolling each morning that this could replace perfectly.

Pls spread word. Three digits can help protect you from scams: 159. If you're suspicious of a 'call from your bank', politely hang up and dial 159. It connects you to a switchboard that puts you through to your bank's real number. Watch the video for why its extra protection

I watched it last night and had the same thought, she was great. I couldn't stomach a lot of the scenes, though. I definitely find that level of gore harder to watch the older I get!

Try r/tipofmyjoystick they're wizards on that subreddit.

We had wrens. bsky.app/profile/past...

020

Unfortunately one didn't make it. She was poorly and was yeeted out of the nest early. We made sure she was comfy and safe from anything that might eat her.

001

They're grumpy looking things!

120

And then they all trudged off into the bushes to start an adventure. We help the parents scare off a rat and not long after that, they made their way into a neighbours garden. We could still hear them chirping for food at 9 last night so they're still going. 2 more days and they'll be flying.

100

But then yesterday they all fledged. It was wonderful to see. This is clllose to the house and they stay there, getting used to their new found freedom for an hour or so.

We had some baby wrens nesting by our back door in a nest my wife wove. There were 4 of them and the parents were the busiest birds alive for 2 weeks. Darting around everywhere trying to keep them fed and cool in the 32c heat.

Superb, sounds like a good approach. Good luck with the rest of it.

We had some baby wrens nesting near our backdoor and the fledged today's. It was lovely.

Ha! Nice one, I'm glad it's going well. Is it bittersweet or just time? I've never collected but I image it could be a strange feeling.

How are you progressing with this sell off? Are most things selling? How far through the pile of things to sell are you?

It seemed to go straight to a 6 quid a month option for me. I'll check again later if I missed something.

I was going to suggest Clear and Present Donger as the title but it doesn't really work. The Bone Collecter might, though.

Mine is 5 years old but still pwerful enough and I'm treating it like a newborn child. I put in an AIO liquid cooling loop in for the CPU and GPU 4 years ago and I'm terrified its going to turn into a fountain.
