The ADHD and autism diagnosis debate risks missing a bigger question: what support do people actually receive? Reliable assessment matters, but so does support for people who face barriers without a diagnosis, or receive one and still get no help. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c6...

Where does assistive technology end and specialist study skills support begin? At AT Together Scotland 2026, PASSHE’s Dylan Griffiths will explore how specialist study skills and AT can complement one another around the individual student, rather than being viewed as separate approaches.

Does support really need to wait for a diagnosis? The DfE says SEND support should be based on need, not labels. So are our systems actually designed to support people before the paperwork catches up? www.gov.uk/government/p...

Interesting discussion with Gina Rippon on BBC Radio about young people’s mental health, ADHD and autism. The section around 2h 10m is particularly worth hearing. A useful reminder that context and environment matter, not just diagnosis. Listen here: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

There’s long been a gap between students who flourish in HE with the right support and what happens when they enter work. Could Connect to Work help bridge that gap for disabled and neurodivergent graduates? Search “Connect to Work” + your local authority to find out.
