The first time we’re sharing Passage with the actual gameplay. The motion is so sooth, it’s a good feeling. #gamedev #indiedev #unity #unity3d #indiegame #3D #game #isometric #worldbuilding

Yeah! Thank you, appreciate it. we were trying to find a sweet spot between simple but warm, a bit imperfect with just enough character

Passage Game @passagegame.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Agreed! Definitively a source of inspiration for us! But sometimes it's quite hard to say nothing to the player 😬

Passage Game @passagegame.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

I'll say that more you have accuracy in your calculations, more you have control of the meta progression. Maybe some others questions who might help : - Which stats I'll let the player improve along the way ? - How much control I want to give to my player about its stats?

Passage Game @passagegame.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

I see that's cool! Are you using a Sobel operator for the outlines ?

Passage Game @passagegame.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

look's like you repaint on top multiple times ?

Passage Game @passagegame.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

I love this! I love how the sketching is progressively completed. How did you do that ?

Passage Game @passagegame.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

Totally! I'm actually forcing myself not to go back to it and just focus on the gameplay 😅 But it's tough, especially after spotting so many ways to improve it

Recently gave the game UI a refresh. — cleaner, friendlier, and more in line with the visual language and aesthetic we’re building. #gamedev #indiedev #unity #unity3d #indiegame #3D #game #isometric #worldbuilding #UI #UX #interface #productdesign #design #figma

Yes! Shader magic through custom Renderings Layers. Still need some love but we are getting there!

Thanks Zein! We’re big fans of that 70s French sci-fi comic book style — glad you like it :)

Working on some design options for the Exit/Goal door of our Puzzle — Should we close the top or no? #unity3D #indiedev #indiegame #3d #conceptart #blender

Passage Game @passagegame.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

Thanks a lot ! It's a mix shader and post-process for the outlines. Still need some love but we are quite happy so far
