I eventually did get it running good and looking good at the same time. Essentially what I'm understanding is, this game is AC7 graphics at the core with a bunch of UE5 special effects thrown in while also defaulting to ray tracing. Default Ray Tracing is awful.

Ace Combat 8 is not optimized in the slightest. There is no excuse for this. No game developer should be using Unreal Engine 5. If your game can't run well unless you have the most cutting edge hardware then you need to scale back what you're doing. This is simple game design 101.
