Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 04/09/2025Love when records come with bonus artwork, thx @topshelfrecords.com 060
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 25/07/2025I’m also a fan of No. 4 - I’ve never listened to the reunion LP, but the five they did in the original run are pretty good. I should give more attention to that last one… 020
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 25/07/2025The Pilots weirdest and possibly my favorite of theirs. I’m also not a huge MoFi fan but this sure does sound good. Your Art School Girlfriend might even dig it. 1100
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 18/07/2025Maybe? Because that hard bound one is a work of art! 020
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 18/07/2025Unfortunately I’ve been pretty MIA everywhere. My mom passed away around the end of June. 000
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 18/05/2025@cwmb.bsky.social you check this out yet? My library has it 070
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 16/05/2025It wasn’t until my late 30s that I fully appreciated Mellow Pavement. I’d solidly rank this in my top 3 now. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 11/05/2025That copy of The Score, always wanted it! But I did get Nada Surf. I never was a member. A shop near me got someone’s castoffs. That’s where I got this one and a few others. And I ordered some when they were offered to non-members. Still mad I don’t have Is This It though. 000
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 09/05/2025Mine did on first play too, I think I managed to get it worked out 020
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 09/05/2025How did I miss this one? I’m still typing away on that other thing… Ms. Crow might make an appearance in tape form. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 08/05/2025The first record I ever heard from these guys way back in 2008. Sparse, kind of ethereal, dream-like, intimate. And pour one out for #VinylMePlease, they did this one good. #beachhouse #devotion #vinylcommunity #coloredvinylclub #vinyl #dreampop #recordcollection 2260
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 07/05/2025I’m up way early this morning. Time to put on the only record credited to #MarkHollis as the sun makes its way into the upstairs. What a beautiful record. #vinyl #vinylcommunity #recordoftheday #vinylsky #recordcollection #postrock 1171
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 07/05/2025My son also knows it - Minecraft videos 😂 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 07/05/2025I need to finally grab this one. I love how this one descended into weirdness as it goes along. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Ooof you know I keep thinking I need Cruel Country. It’s on sale. But this was the rare year I spent a good chunk of money at RSD. They had some good stuff this year! 100
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 05/05/2025I love that pair, Star Wars and Schmilco. I may have said this before but those two kinda reignited my love for these guys. Btw they are having a sale on their webstore. Warm/Warmer is $12. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Aw damn. Agree, that was and maybe still is my favorite milk stout. Need to stock up. And I have one of their Barleywines in the fridge. 100
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Big box though! I remember the CD had the egg slipcase and a nest underneath. I’d love to have that box. I’d probably never listen to most of it. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 05/05/2025So I forget, does the new one have the egg on the cover? Or is it still an empty nest? 100
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 05/05/2025I’m still getting the hang of this thing 😂 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Spinning my favorite of the Wilco albums on this foggy morning. I saw them tour this album and Jeff dedicated Theologians to the then new pope. #wilco #aghostisborn #vinyl #records #vinylcommunity #recordcollection #vinylsky 1291
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 21/04/2025Hahahaha. It is love. I definitely have a similar story involving my mom and wife that you know, says love. 120
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 16/04/2025Like the collection itself or the cassette version? 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 14/04/2025Imagine a world where time moves slowly… 010
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 14/04/2025Always check out the used goods on RSD. I returned to innocence this year. #puremoods #cassettecollection #cassette 180
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 10/04/2025How did I forget about that guy? And also Seth Green would be a good choice. 010
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 10/04/2025Btw, I had this running joke about songs that should be made into movies, and how they really missed an opportunity to make Pretty Fly for a White Guy into a movie starting DJ Qualls as said White Guy. In theaters summer 2001! But now isn’t that a lot of movies with DJ Qualls in them? 100
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 10/04/2025Same, except no cassettes either. There’s like an RSD essentials of Smash I thought about picking up. I should one of these days. And I remember that album after Americana had a song that sounded a whole lot like Pretty Fly. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 09/04/2025This is literally one of my favorite things I’ve seen all day. Yes; in many cases the truth is probably kinda woke. 150
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 09/04/2025Genuinely one I’ve needed to get for a long time. This one and Ixnay were classics of my youth. And yeah it seems to be a weird faux-pas to like these guys. Don’t care. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 27/03/2025I feel like I’m the only one who truly loves this record. Psychedelia and debauchery? All right! 230
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 27/03/2025Evening listening. The Chainsaw Kittens and their second record Flipped Out in Singapore. These guys should’ve been huge! And they’re hometown heroes for me! #chainsawkittens #flippedoutinsingapore #vinyl #vinylcommunity #music #alternativerock 0100
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 26/03/2025They did some special pressings of this recently. And I think there’s a wider one coming in May. Always wanted this one! 010
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 26/03/2025Isn’t it gorgeous? Spinning the debut from #TheGinBlossoms this afternoon. And there’s b-sides! #newmiserableexperience #coloredvinyl #vinyl #vinylcommunity #music #90svinyl #recordcollection 2180
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 22/03/2025But did you add it to your life list on Merlin tho 100
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 21/03/2025Pic on the left is the OKC Guestroom, and the right one is Norman! 000
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 21/03/2025Open them records! Seriously they are the definitive versions for me! I’ve only heard Peppers on the red Odeon press, and it was fantastic. 130
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 21/03/2025Oh man. The sound on those red monos is legendary. Wonder how they stack up to the 2014s? 220
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 21/03/2025When in Oklahoma, it’s always Guestroom. Loyal customer since 2003. #recordstore #guestroomrecords #vinyl #vinylcommunity #wreckastow #records #oklahomacity #okc #vinylsky 2230
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 18/03/2025I sure hope mine isn’t one shipping in May. It says a label has been printed and they’ll be on sale March 21 so… 120
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 17/03/2025Yessssssss love it. Beachball is a fave. 010
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 15/03/2025Yeah I did ok the first year, then pretty terrible after that and then something caught on I guess. 010
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 15/03/2025For sure, it’s also the idea of starting over after putting 7+ years into something. 110
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 14/03/2025I’m still posting on IG but I’m a bit torn. I’ve never really used similar platforms to this. But this is definitely holding my interest. 000
Party of the Mind @partyofthemind.bsky.social · 14/03/2025I kinda like how this one is noisier in places, though there’s the lovely almost country Georgia song in there. Saw them play a chunk of this about a year ago, and can safely say every live YLT experience has been completely unique in some way. 020
