Israeli Supreme Court President Amit recommended today that Abu Shehadeh withdraw his candidacy because a consensus was emerging among the justices to approve his disqualification, initiated by Itamar Ben-Gvir and his party. Amit gave Abu Shehadeh until tomorrow to submit his response.
