I love simulation games but now that I'm starting one I'm struggling to think of what I want to achieve. One of my struggles with those types of games is that I get so many characters on screen its hard to care about them. Does anyone else get the same feeling?

I mean a big issue is that presidents have been increasingly relying on executive orders to legislate when it should be the congress and senate passing laws. I think the power of the executive branch should be reigned in a bit more... but that's just me.

Working on Enemy AI for "Trash Wars" today. Using UE's EQS I added a bunch of points that it can search over to build buildings such as towers. Never built something like this so it's pretty fun and interesting. Dark green is the navmesh and the bluespots are points to search over.

Managed to get Steams leaderboard's hooked up in UE5 today. Epics built-in code did not work.. so I ended up just doing it myself. Going to write up how I did it and release it soon for anyone facing similar issues.

Nice, I want to get into it. I've messed around with Rust for a bit and really like that ECS is first class in Bevy. I've mainly been using Unreal Engine.
