I guess I will train myself in Property Management, as that is a job that is out-stripping local resources and is in high demand in Belize. Looked at an overview training module and I have done most of this in the past. It might make it easier for some to expat if I am onsite already.

I think the best truck to bring in to Belize to sell would be a first generation Toyota Tacoma with a 4 cylinder. Like 98-00. That is kind of a moon-shot because they are so highly valued here, too lol. Keep your eyes out for a bro deal!

Airbnb's aren't as profitable inland as they are on the water, but a studio cabin will get about 7k annual income to defray costs 6 cabins and you are rockin. Cabins cost about 10k fully finished and installed.

The reasons Belize rose to the top of the list: English on Legal Documents, Belize dollar is 2:1 to USD (difficult to unpack but I still believe if that makes sense), Can drive there, Same time zone as Texas for online gaming, cost, everything grows all year round, 500k total folks live there.

One thing that I have noticed is that a Toyota Tacoma, like 1998 or so will sell on their marketplace for 10-15k USD. Import duty on the blue book would be around 2k, the trip lets say 1500 with gas and lodging (and padding for the temp pass through mexico). 5k profit min.

Anybody else been doing serious thinking about having an extended adventure? I been looking at property in the Cayo district of Belize. A plan is forming.
