🎉 My first app, QuillCue, is now live on the US App Store! It’s a prompt organizer and keyboard extension designed to be a companion to the new Siri in iOS 27. apps.apple.com/us/app/quill...

Pebble Proves the Ring Might Just be the Ideal Form Factor for On-the-Go AI
There’s been an awful lot of talk about what the right form factor is for AI hardware, especially as it relates to wearables. The three most common form factors are watches, glasses, and earbuds. Now ...

I’m building a Siri prompt library app and loving how it’s turning out. Has a keyboard extension to immediately insert them into any app. You can tap to launch them or it will copy, launch Siri and let you paste. You can categorize, theme, and add them to the home screen with widgets or shortcuts.

This is such a beautifully written, delightfully heartfelt piece. I really appreciate the takes here. The human element, critical enthusiasm rather than simply cynicism, and of course the changing landscape after a life spent following the company. And holy moly, what an incredible shot.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is a near-perfect encapsulation of this industry for anyone outside it and almost uncomfortably accurate for those inside. I hope it serves as a bit of a rallying cry for media and journalism. It also hit personally, for some of us it’s extremely relatable.

Apple debuts 50th anniversary exhibit at Apple Park with iconic products and photography
This story is part of 9to5Mac’s series celebrating Apple’s 50th anniversary. Apple often likes to say that it isn’t a nostalgic company, but they’ve gone all out to celebrate their 50th birthday. The company recently opened an exhibition on campus displaying some of their most iconic products from over the years alongside photographs of memorable moments. There’s even a large screen that plays iconic ads and keynote moments like the 1984 commercial and the opening of the Steve Jobs theater. Thanks to Meriam Al Sultan on X, we all can get a look at the exhibit. more…

guess it should've been obvious from the start that they picked Mario Galaxy for the second movie to use it to set up a cinematic universe, loved Fox McCloud but they should've kept him a secret, and the other two cameos were just subtle enough to work… all around fun time!

TBPN is the future of tech media. I recently met a bunch of young tech folks who had never heard of mainstream publications or have stopped reading them entirely, but all watch TBPN. OpenAI buying it is brilliant. But who knows how it changes things.

While it may be an adjustment for users of Bluesky or Mastodon on their own, it makes using the fediverse and atmosphere way easier and more discoverable. It’s great for keeping up with publications and writers too. Congrats @mmccue.bsky.social & team!

Revisiting Steve Jobs’s most important lesson on Apple’s 50th anniversary
This story is part of 9to5mac’s series celebrating Apple’s 50th anniversary. In 1994 Steve Jobs sat down with the Santa Clara Valley Historical Association for what I imagined they expected to be a simple interview. It was anything but. In a matter of a few minutes the Apple co-founder shared some of the most profound advice I have ever heard anyone in a position of power give. more…

Apple at 50: Celebrate 50 years of the company that changed everything with 9to5Mac
This story is part of 9to5Mac’s series celebrating Apple’s 50th anniversary. Fifty years ago today, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne incorporated Apple Computer. From a garage in Los Altos to the world’s most valuable brand, the company these three men founded has gone on to change the very fabric of our society. We wanted to celebrate this milestone with a series of stories about what makes Apple, Apple. We want to talk about the ethos, the idea that is Apple and the cultural impact it has had beyond the products themselves. more…

The best way to celebrate Apple 50 is to make something wonderful
This story is part of 9to5mac’s series celebrating Apple’s 50th anniversary. A lot of folks are going to find themselves thinking about a company today. That’s great, I’m one of them, but the best way to celebrate Apple and its contributions to society is to make something wonderful yourself. After all, that was what Steve Jobs believed. more…
