I checked a little while ago to see if this AI art commission spammer created new accounts, and it's lead me down a rather confusing rabbit hole. Because yes, they obviously did, but I found some longer-term accounts (that seem to get real commissions!) and ties to one or more actual artists.

It feels like most detractors of generative AI art/imagery focus on current-but-fixable technical issues (dataset ethics, feature/style issues) over issues inherent to the underlying premise. "It lacks the human element" is just tautological. I think the key inherent issue is *information density*.

I was looking to create a moderation list for (specifically) AI art commission spammers, but apparently you can't add someone to a moderation list if they've blocked you. That's, um, neat.

Also from around July. Collar and penis were drawn manually, and then nudged into the correct style with very gradual inpainting. Even doing so, the idea of something translucent was way too vague for this model, so the head of the penis ended up a bit odd.

This one's from July. Hands are hard, I recall having to poorly draw them myself and nudge them into something somewhat correct looking via inpainting. Most of the style comes from embeddings (custom + Furtastic's), although artist tags (not Chunie!) were used as well. #ai #art #furry #furryart

Created this account to post AI gens/experiments without drawing the ire of @furryli.st. I get why they ban it on their feed (ethics aside, it's mostly lazy garbage), and I wasn't planning on posting any NSFW there regardless.
