I don't know how to describe the difference in atmosphere between bishounen and bishoujo media so I'll just say this: Regardless of your opinions on it, no Otome or BL game or anime, not even the one with the most taboo tags, has achieved the same energy as something like School Days.

I see some people expecting everyone to know every controversy by default regardless of country and language but I still have only seen one other westerner besides myself who is aware Shigesato Itoi (Earthbound guy) is infamous in political Japan Twitter for being a fascism bootlicker.

As someone who plays the games, I think it's funny when people try to argue he's the most powerful character anyone in history ever imagined. He literally can't hurt you until you conveniently leave behind Drop Stars after your attacks.

I know every time this is the case, the game is actually from 2001, but Japanese PS1 games with 2d animated openings that don't have the 90s anime look and wouldn't look weird for a corporation to release today feel so illegal to me.

I know dubs exist, but I prefer to experience things in their raw script if I can and I happen to know some 日本語. Also didn't a worthy of my grace thing happen with it anyways
