Seriously though these places are always a goldmine of bizarre spaces and objects

I love antique/thrift stores so much. They are genuinely huge inspirations for the sort of object and scenery pieces I do. It's an endless churn of bizarre, interesting, funny, creepy and charming objects all piled up on each other. this is one i went to the other day

Piles and piles of random junk in a row of shelves

A bunch of odds and ends just sitting around

A cozy piece of furniture sitting all by itself

An absurdly large chair surrounded by unwanted pop culture merchandise

Unorthodox berries are a thing I love seeing. I've seen pomegranates, bananas, strawberries. you think you're safe because you chose to not drink the blueberry juice? think again!

It's hard to cope with the world being mean sometimes. You aren't broken or anything. I don't know your full situation but it would be worth it to see what has been helping you get through things.

I will interpret this as becoming a big bouncy pooltoy cat who has an insatiable urge to slap people with big bappers. I'm manifesting this fate

Man fandom was so much better when making some fanart was punishable by being featured in some youtube deviantart cringe compilation and having hordes of 11 year olds harass you for weeks.

well the magenta pink in the background is placeholder color... that doesn't count

010

ParaSeptic 🔞 @paraseptic.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

It was a big decision to make the background very pale and unsaturated so that the toy characters had room to be as colorful as they'd like to be

I am always in love with the way you do berry stretchmarks even if you were to hypothetically get rid of all the berry juice in that body, the berry juice will have already taken its toll.

Then the flip side is an artist who keeps making the thing everyone likes until they cannot stand it. They fear their audience and know if they stop making the thing then they'll stop coming. They start to hate the thing and it robs their passion. there's not a clear solution to this problem

010

ParaSeptic 🔞 @paraseptic.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

creator's dilemma. If a regular comes to you for 1 thing only and you start showing them something else, they'll stop coming. You can't force people to like the new thing, but it still hurts to see a regular stop coming.

110

ParaSeptic 🔞 @paraseptic.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

It's a thing for a lot of artists I've seen. Keep your audience happy Do what you want to do these things can clash sometimes. I'd like to cop out and say "erm i got commed to do this" but that would imply I didn't like the subject matter of the comm.

110

ParaSeptic 🔞 @paraseptic.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

One of the most annoying things about making NSFW art is that when you go out of your comfort zone you risk alienating some of your audience. I understand both sides. If someone draws things you don't wanna see why keep following? but it feels bad I have to gauge if I should post something or not

120

ParaSeptic 🔞 @paraseptic.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I have a bad habit of blurting out some uninformed but well meaning take and then immediately being asked to elaborate The tweet of "me reaping vs me sowing" describes this perfectly Most of my comments are just showing support to artists I like.
