I've really missed suit building. I have two partially worked on pieces sitting in my bedroom that have been dying to be worked on. I think I'd have to really organize my time more as work and school are draining my cup as is. Poor Spiritboard and secret hybrid lol

I've been so busy putting education and work above all else the last few years. It's been a while since I felt like I've genuinely smiled out of pure uncappable joy. I think one of the most memorable moments I felt that was standing in the GSR lobby, full of gratitude to be there.

I found a deceased hummingbird hawk moth in my garden today. It was so sad to see. I held it in my hand for a moment before burying it where it wouldn't be disturbed. Why should things so beautiful, so amazing, and unique be allowed to perish in this world? It's so unfair.

Think I'm going to pull ink out and add some belt loops today. I'd been putting it off for a long time and if I want to wear him again, it needs to be done. He might need new leg padding too lol Last time I wore him, he was so baggy.

Thinking on this a lot lately; I miss the highs whilst in the fandom. It felt much more free, open in a positive way, and wholesome. I'm slowly starting to forget specific con events. I'm not in the scene now, but compared to how it was versus the experience ppl are having now.. it's so different.

It's finals week for the semester. I'm reminded this morning of all that I've had to sacrifice to get here. Sadly, it's nowhere near being over as the next semester is getting lined up, but the last few months have been some of the worst I've had.

PSA: I never informed the community, as it didn't feel right to, but I left the fandom over a year ago. Not only did I lose the desire to be in it, but financially it was drowning me. I couldn't go back to school and remain in it. Whether or not I will suit again is up in the air. (1/3)

I'd like to make Yule cards in place of Christmas cards this year. (I dont do corporate x-mas, or x-mas at all for that matter). The cards would be customized with watercolors. Free of charge, but wouldn't be opposed to a tip or something.

Hey. You. Yeah, you, right there. Stop your doomscrolling for a minute. Take a moment to breathe. Focus on something that makes you happy. A hobby, movie, a cup of your favorite hot beverage. You got this. I know things are hard, but don't forget to take care of yourself today.

This really goes to show you can have a degree and yet still be a total moron. What a quack. I don't have to convince ya'll to keep up to date on your vaccinations as well as protect yourselves and others. I don't have a degree (yet, still in prog)

Paternal grandmother passed away this afternoon... Got the call last night that it was getting close to her time. She couldn't speak but I was able to share some memories with her. Hate that it was caught so late. I'll light a candle for her tonight and wish her soul safe departure across the veil.

My biological father's mother has been diagnosed w/ terminal osteosarcoma. He called last night and all I could really say were my condolences. I was never really close to that side of the family; the only memories I've retained are cast in traumatic events. They'll expect me to visit b4 she passes

Last night's cleanse knocked all the energy put of me. Time for more suit sewing, the gardening tonight after dinner. Plant babies are up against munching bugs so they need some back up <3

Feels like I've been hit with the Nostalgia Stick lol Last couple of days have been a constant reminder of one of the largest decisions I had to make last year. Wish it didn't have to come to making the choice I made and both could have been possible, but the love for the hobby had diminished too.

The last week has been pretty tumultuous. Not just with schooling, but huge lifestyle changes that I'm feeling the effect of. Seeing old con pictures puts a knot in my stomach. I'm not sure when I'd suit up again.
