I got myself a new drawing tablet! The previous one is old and scratched to hell, so it was about time. My line art is super squiggly and uneven though, so getting used to it might take some time.

I've been struggling with drawing for several months now as I simply don't have the energy. My day job has become overbearing. I've told my manager I'm at risk of getting burned out soon if things don't change. Hopefully things will turn around soon.

I dug up an old sketch and cleaned it up a bit. I'm a bit mixed on the result though. I followed a reference too closely to the point where I feel it compromised my style.

Redid the shading multiple times but I'm still not happy with it. At least it made for good practice, but now I really want to move on to something else.

I spend at least 90% of time on a drawing just trying different colors and shading techniques. I'm really bad at it, so it ends up being frustrating and tedious. I'm still looking for a proper technique that really works for me. It just takes so long that it's hard to stay motivated sometimes.

I usually dislike engaging with politics, but for this once I will make an exception. Intentions don't matter, what Elon did was disgusting and sets a terrifying precedence for the future. I look forward to deleting my twitter account.
