The last object in my sky hoping is #M27 the Dumbbell Nebula. Found by French astronomer Charles Messier in 1764, it was the first planetary nebula ever discovered, its located about 1,200 to 1,360 light-years away.🔭 Hope you enjoyed that little sky hope? Now off to #Saturn

Estimated to be roughly 13.7 billion years old with very few heavy elements, meaning its stars formed early in the universe's history, M56 roughly 32,900 light-years away in the constellation Lyra and Measures approximately 84 light-years across. 🔭

Moving on to #M39 an open star cluster roughly 800 to 1,010 light-years away from Earth, making it one of the closer star clusters to our solar system. 🔭

Discovered more older data, this time of the plant #Saturn from 10/08/22 Taken via Celestron C11 🔭 with 2x Barlow. I'm hoping to get more planetary imaging done again as Saturn will become a good target again. #Astronomy #Astrophotography @liverpoolas.org

They keep coming, here is my next reworking of my old 🔭 data. This is NGC 6946, better known as the Fireworks Galaxy. The refined tools of #Siril have allowed me to pull out sharper & cleaner details. I Hope your enjoying these reworkings? Some more interesting facts about this #galaxy ...
A deep-space telescopic photograph of the Fireworks Galaxy (NGC 6946), shown face-on against a dark black sky sprinkled with fine background stars. The galaxy features a bright, glowing golden-yellow central core surrounded by sprawling, loosely wound spiral arms. Dark, web-like lanes of cosmic dust wind through the arms, punctuated by delicate blue star-forming regions and subtle reddish-pink emission nebulae along the edges. Near the bottom edge of the galaxy, a brighter foreground star exhibits tiny diffraction spikes. In the bottom right corner, a black banner overlay reads "PARAMOUNT OBSERVATORY" alongside a small white icon of a telescope on a tripod.
