Those fancy Korean webcomics about reincarnated people or the world turning into something sorta video gamey? Those are all made by different studios baabyyy they prolly got at least 14 hands for them vertical scrolls

Well, the most important aspect to begin with, is that, as a Korean owned webcomics site, it's actually primarily for professional studio webcomics rather then indies! But they tried to market em towards indie webcomic culture in the west, but with studio standard practices (and other shady things)

There are circumstances behind webtoon and the wack circumstances that have let to a bunch of misunderstandings in the western webcomic community that I would LOVE to Yap about- But yeah dun... Dun host your indie webcomic there....

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

Arguably to me there hasn't been any good fangames that properly catch that feel as well Well like don't get me wrong there are fan games that I like that give sonic a decent amount of momentum based gameplay but they always made stages bigger to compensate and it always felt weird to me

Reward by @paradoxian.bsky.social! Getting turned into a Pokemon with no clear way back to human form can be a heck of a life change...but it seems this transformed Trainer feels she can adapt to her new circumstances! #PostTF #TFEveryday #TF

On top of a bench sits a female Pokemon Trainer who has been transformed into a Floragato. Although she resembles one, she stands out with her green, human-shaped eyes, long blond human hair with light blue highlights and a short, high, tied ponytail, a sideways-worn visor of light and dark blue, a dark blue sleeveless jacket, a light blue undershirt, a backpack and dark blue shorts. As a Floragato, she is a bipedal, light green feline Pokemon with a short tail, green digitigrade feet, green flexible paw-like hands with claws, and fangs.

She is explaining to an offscreen human her circumstances with a calm frown as she says, "...and that's how I got turned into a Floragato. I've talked with some scientists...and it looks like I miiight be stuck like this indefinitely." The offscreen human replies, "Oh jeez. Think you'll be okay living like that?"

The same picture as before, but the Floragato-transformed Trainer is now smiling instead. She says, "...Honestly, we think I can make it work! Sure, I'll have to get used to taking care of my fur...and being short...and having a tail...but otherwise, I'm still able to be a Trainer and take care of my Pokemon. ...And I don't have to worry about being caught by a Poke Ball or anything like that."

The transformed Floragato Pokemon Trainer without text, frowning.

disingenuous and utterly misleading reporting by RPS here: Discord did not suffer any kind of breach this is a completely-unaffiliated-with-Discord service

Gaming chat app Discord has suffered another user data breach, with a suspected 1 million email addresses stolen alongside (potentially many more) user IDs and IP addresses. While Discord was not targeted directly, third party security service Double Counter have reported a "deliberate, multi-stage attack" wherein hackers spent nearly six hours poking around their infrastructure before the vulnerability was closed.

Double Counter essentially acts as a bouncer bot for Discord servers, promising to detect and block unsanctioned alt accounts and prevent hostile 'raids' by large groups of malicious users. While its efficacy in that mission is debated by Discord users, and the service has previously been accused of selling user data for revenue, the fact is that Double Counter can collect and store personal info of the users that visit its 'protected' servers. Info that, now, has been partly or entirely nicked by Internet miscreants.

By Double Counter’s own estimates, around 1 million user email addresses have been affected, with databases of Discord IDs, usernames, IP addresses, and even location info for up to 28 million users also "partly" copied by the hackers. Security breach trackers Have I Been Pwned further report that 275,000 of the pinched emails and usernames have since been posted publicly.
