i customized my site skin to remove kudos from displaying because I'd always think my fics sucked lol (cuz my highest is 85). when i did pay attention to kudos, i thought anything higher than 100 meant it was really good lol. but op i'm curious, what do you think is a lot?

An excerpt from the poster's WIP Wednesday namseok fanfic, which reads as the following:

“Oh? Did you get it while shopping?” Namjoon asked, eyeing the small, colourful box carefully as Hoseok placed it in his palm.

“No, actually, I made it!” Hoseok said brightly, but Namjoon noticed he was a little jittery—did they put too much coffee in his mocha?

He opened the box, and when he saw the contents, his eyes widened. His gaze whipped back to Hoseok. “You made this, for me?”

Hoseok nodded, folding back his right sleeve where his wristwatch was. Jangling beside it was a matching friendship bracelet, complete with a Takashi Murakami flower charm and bright, colourful beads.

“I have a matching one, see?” Hoseok said proudly. “The beads are also one of Yoongi’s newer creations—they can hold scents. I already scented both of them.”

He paused, before clearing his throat. “And um…. I was thinking you could… scent mine too? Is that weird?”

something i've been trying to write since april 😅 it's a namkookmin fic that's part of my fruit witch ficlets 🥰 this one is so hard to write because of self-imposed word count restrictions😭

A NamKookMin fanfic excerpt, which reads: The full moon was bright in the starless sky. Hanging just over the treetops and the mountains, perfectly centred in Jungkook’s window. She rested just above the white, freshly scented pillar candle that hosted a calm, steady flame. The curl of incense wrapped around him— moon energy, ocean energy—greeting him with fondness.

He let his skin soak up her light as she recharged his moon water. As she recharged his crystals, pendants, necklaces, and jewelry. Cleansing him in the candlelight, in the smoke that clung to his robes and the dried, lichen covered driftwood he’d been gifted by the sea before he left his hometown of Busan.

He thanked the moon for allowing him access to her ocean of power, before he poured his moon water into his enchanted seashell bowl, where he would see the moon’s destiny for him. He did it every month on the full moon, waiting to see something new about his soulmate and their dreams. Usually it was of the ocean, sometimes of a library or a curated selection of books, other times it was of a field. Sometimes of pineapple, avocados, all tropical to sub-tropical fruits.

But for almost half a year now, it was dragonfruit. Well, specifically the bioluminescent flowers of the dragonfruit tree. And it was the same image every night. Every night the smell would get richer, a faint hint of expensive cologne, a whiff of… samgyeopsal?, or there’d be slight variations: a new blossom on the stem that smelled like old, vintage, leather-bound books, hands with his tattoos feeling around the leaves before a hand that wasn’t his gently rears it back.
