I have painted and I have sketched yet I haven't been able to finish a piece from start to finish in a while. I can't let Chevron in a maid dress be my last full illustration.... no....

The "creative art block" that the pov character experiences is actually not knowing how the figure on his research paper should look like

"I like my art style, but I wanna add more edges and graphical elements to it so ive been reading hellboy" "protag hows your abstract doing" "bad."

A parody of those Relatable Artist Life comics where the protagonist is actually studying something completely different from the arts. "Art isn't that hard honestly" said the stem major after using 2 hours of his free time to draw splatoon art

Theres a huge spiderweb outside my window since beginning of the month. I have refused to clean it bc of #Spooky but I'm also real arachnophobic. I hope this gets me exposure therapy points

My short story called "The Golden Stag" from last year 🦌 Now with alt text! 1/13 #comic #art

The first comic page of The Golden Stag

"There is a legend told by the deer", a narrative text box displays.
The first panel contains a golden stag within a dark blue scene. Two deer look towards the jumping animal, which is facing away from them. It has large, unusual antlers and appears shaggier than the usual stag.

"Of a golden stag, storming through the woods." the text box continues.

The second panel engulfs the blue with warm reds, oranges and yellow, rays of light exuding of the now forward facing golden stag.
"Its beauty is blinding.
Its touch gentle.
And should you meet it,
it will let you rest peacefully."
The panel concludes in light dowsed, blue deer beholding the fabled yellow ungulate.

If you think about it, digievolution music is the equivalent to keygen music in-universe.

Did 8 artfights which is a good ratio considering i locked in at the last week. However, I didn't get to do a Lineless Attack which means everything is Doomed Forever.

I don't do as many finished pieces as I honestly should, but I genuinely can't go a day without drawing something. Like even a margin-of-the-page sketch. 16 y/o me would be like "unless you make USD DOLLARS out of art you're NOT A REAL ARTIST!!" and then refuse to write oc bios. that hater!!!!!

parallals the lals @paradarala.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

Nowadays I that being an artist isn't about how much time you dedicate to the craft, it's how much time you can go without doing at least something related to it
