Exactly! It's the same with seeing people "if you don't use AI, another designer that does will get the job". Any client that's okay with slop doesn't care about you and you'll be tossed out when they find someone cheaper. AI folks don't realize how replaceable they are in the creative market.

I disliked it at first because the forced eye-for-an-eye "Press X to kill" and split storytelling. I still a lot of lost potential in making those morality choices to avoid killing the friends to make it harder but an alt ending BUT it does get better on a second play through.

In my Eng 1 class, the final paper was an in-person written essay about a theme from 1984. It's been two decades and can't remember what I chose but I just bullshitted my way by comparing it to Looney Tunes logic. Ace'd it. Teacher said the same thing, I backed up my thesis perfectly.

Went to the Jelly Belly factory and they had a grab-n-go station, only seeing "$5.99. Filled it to the brim with black licorice jelly belly and beamed with pride as I went the counter. $41. Price was per lb. Facebook won't let me live it down. Holding it like a fish...You're in good company. lol

I think it's more people have read Potter. Almost everyone I know has read Potter but the only people I know that's read LotR are the ultra nerdy. Even the movies are easier to rewatch for the average person. LotR is an amazing adaptation but it's also a very serious, very dramatic story.

Had a client staffer that would "No, you have to use this specific shade of orange, and the logo has to be specifically this many pixels away-" and then when they used AI for a flyer, it was glitching out but was so proud of it. Suddenly they didn't care about the logo position or color.

Ncuti was a great Doctor but yea, the whole run was just a mess. Rudy's actress leaving after one season but the writers seemingly giving her arc to a new companion and so many open plotlines. RTD just kept doubling down on his style.

They know 99.999% of the results within two days but don't certify it and wait for any straggling mail-in votes, any international votes, etc then run an audit to ensure things are good. Ya'll acting like people are running ballots a week after and we just need to throw more people at it.

In my County, they run twelve machines that count 3-4 ballots a second. It's done in the back area of the RoV in a locked room. They have to have space for the public avatars to watch all the ballot counters for transparency. They count two weeks prior and a day after.

I mean...he only had that one breakout role and it ended 11 years ago. The voice actors for Meatwad and Shake are both constantly working. Voice acting is a tough industry and just having one role doesn't mean they'll be able to make it a career out of it.

That's the frustrating part about being autistic is...if I'm told "There's no problem" or "I'm just really busy", I'm going to just believe it in good faith. I'd rather someone tell me I intentionally did something wrong than make me think we're good while they grow to hate me from a small thing.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but to hear the interview, where he says he's looking forward to using AI on more projects in the future makes it seem like he's just doing what he can to protect himself.
