They fired so many artists over this too. People who helped make the game iconic were tossed out on the street because the Slop Faucet could do it "decent enough". If you still play Fortnite, you're funding the hyper-acceleration of AI replacing Artists in Gaming

Is it me or are commissions slowing down these days? I’m kind of getting nervous if I’m doing something wrong, or is it the economy. Being a full time freelance artist should I panic now?

Fuck Harry Potter Go read The Last Royal (it has magic, guns, swords, monsters, and political subtext.)

Two men, one literally deforned, lunging at the other man. The smaller one has a sword, ready to swing.

Happy #PortfolioDay My name is Drew, I'm currently looking for writing opportunities on a part time basis. I write and produce comics, which you can check out here, drewmisemer.com. Currently working on Haley Brown and the Last Royal Art by @kaistarlight.bsky.social and @minervafoxart.bsky.social

Poe Dameron saying "Somehow Portfolio Day has returned"

A one page comic of Haley Brown:

Panel 1: Haley is popping and ollie with a caption "I get asked about how I got good at skateboarding. Practice obviously?"

Panel 2: Haley is punching a guy with an upper cut "But you don't want to hear that. Or believe it."

"And if we're being honest, I'm lying too. I didn't learn skateboarding first. It was just a way to practice footwork."

"Now it's an added reminder of horrible events. Pop. Thunk. Pop. Thunk"

Panel 3: Haley is landing the skateboard, we see a sound effect of thunk.

Panel 4: Haley is sitting on his skateboard in an empty room. "Still, I need to keep doing it. To practice and to remember so I don't forget my mistake."

Panel 5: A small photo is in Haley's hands of a girl giving Haley a noogie. "I messed up one time and lost someone for it. I miss her."
