Built an axe and a pickaxe. The pickaxe is again made from a toothpick and painted paper. The shape of the axe handle is too complicated, so I cut it out of a 1mm cardboard and painted it to have a color similar to the pickaxe. #papercraft #Tatra815 #AV15 #scalemodel #histscalemodels

I have to admit, the past few days I've been imagining how @twai.bsky.social comes to the pantry, finds that potatoes are about to expire, smoothes all the wrinkles with Tamiya putty, and gives them a fresh layer of yellow/brown paint and a bit of mud pigments to make them last couple more weeks 🥔🖌️🎨

10ml plastic bottles with an applicator, for glue. Otherwise, many of the things others mentioned: toothpicks, bottlecaps, nail files. Oh, and also DVD/game disc cases to build improvised stands.

You can, but you need to be extra careful about any water-based solutions. And ideally impregnate it with superglue or a lot of transparent varnish before starting any paint work.

Being just a textured piece of paper, the locker doors felt a bit too simple and flat. so I decided to make handles for all of them out of copper wire and rolled paper. #papercraft #Tatra815 #AV15 #scalemodel #histscalemodels

No kits bought this year. I did, however, invest into a set of AK acrylic markers. The Real Colors markers are awesome, I wish I had found them earlier. Also got the Playmarkers, but those are less great for paper and I'll probably hand them over to some miniature painter. #buildthestash
