i have so much to say for this! thanatos chivalric nature came naturally whereas fyodor masks using it; there’s a lot of minute differences between the two to most outsiders wouldn’t mean anything to those that didn’t know him but to someone like hades who would have, it meant everything

thanatos caused a lot of grief not because they were stubborn but because they always had the best interests of etheirys at heart — it’s a bit difficult to explain in words, but i think its a case of understanding inevitably vs rejecting inevitability

ancient asks yess… thanatos was similar to fyodor — serious and well meaning, but what set them apart is that thanatos wasn’t stubborn. they were solemn, a gentle end, whereas fyodor has a saviour complex that constantly kills him from inside — a small difference, but so significant
