IM BACK!! Here is my gifted protagonist for my passion project comic, Ophidia! [ #oc | #comic | #art ]

She is a black trans woman who goes by the pronouns she/they. Her life can be described simply as a shark trapped in a kiddie pool. Her family quickly found out that she was talented in the Arcane. At only 5 years old she was able to freely manifest and manipulate her mana. By the time she was 8, she was making use of complex mana equations without anyone to teach her.

By this time, her father had already abandoned her and her mother. Her mother was devastated by this and decided to pour all of her pent up frustrations into Marina. She knew her child had created potential and did everything in her power to draw it out. She was constantly forced to study and hone her craft. She could no longer enjoy being a child due to her mother but that didn’t stop her from pushing herself to meet her mother's expectations. She was worried that if she didn’t succeed and not only succeed but excel her mother would leave her too.
