I find when I try to structure drawings out in a semi-realistic manner the end result is nightmare fuel. The balance between appeal and realism is rough.

Are there any examples of retro-inspired games that have shaders mimicking both PS1 and N64 rendering styles? I think they're too disctinct to make the same asset look good in both styles, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

A friend of mine bought me FFVII: Remake while it was on sale. I REALLY don't get the hype. The presentation is nice. Writing was a bit awkward, but fine. But the gameplay? Beyond bland. Why is this so highly praised?

Fixing a PC is just a nonstop avalanche of problems, I swear. Had to replace the cooler on my CPU, then my GPU died. Installed a new GPU and come to find the new CPU cooler isn't enough when it isn't being bottle-necked. New CPU cooler coming next week. Any bets on the next issue I'll have?

Turns out my GPU *was* the problem. Swapped it out for an old RX 480 I had lying around and haven't had any of the same issues. I wish mid-range GPU's weren't $600 right now.💀

I believe my GPU may be cooked; drivers are crashing pretty frequently when under load. I thought it was a driver issue, but the problem persisted across operating systems. Temps are pretty normal, even re-pasted the chip, but the drivers keep crashing and bringing my whole system down with them.💀

Always problems with new hardware. The cooler I bought awhile ago for my 5600X is not up to snuff for the new 5900XT. Ordered an extra fan for the cooler. Temps aren't dangerously high, just uncomfortable.
