iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

there's a shot where she's running away one of the emmi and its just The hips. The thighs.

Either way it's stupid republican laws having the exact effect they want; scaring anxious trans people out of seeking life saving care

I'm on yet another insurance plan, and looking up "gender affirming care" brings up a bunch of providers whose websites mention nothing about it. Is their system just seeing HRT in relation to menopause? Probably. Do providers not list it in fear of losing state funding? Almost certainly.

Did 4 months of therapy only for insurance to mysteriously stop covering "transgender surgeries and related services" at the second to last appointment. Got new insurance, was told my HRT support letter had "expired" that was 5 years ago and I still haven't started. Being in FL doesn't help.

Holy fuck VisionQuest is good. And very trans, so far. Subtextually, of course, and I'd be surprised if it was intentional. But nearly any story that deals with identity and the nature of the self is going to be.

Oh no. As of yet, kidney stone pain is the worst pain I've ever experienced. My mom (who is also predisposed to kidney stones) told me it's about as painful as childbirth, which was oddly gender affirming.

Joke's on you, she already has it

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

That's terrible! You should let everyone know where and how that wish was granted! S-so we can avoid it. Of course.

I am at work I cannot be laughing this hard at this

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Oh my god, that's terrible! Where? So I can avoid it, obviously.

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Guess I'll have to settle for filling this meat sack with plastic instead. Next best thing, I guess

It's malleable. It can be shaped to be whatever you want. All you need is heat and a hammer.

Metal doesn't sweat. It doesn't need constant maintenance. It just is.

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Like, every once in a while I look at my flesh and just get disgusted in a way that transcends my gender dysphoria. I'm supposed to be metal.

god i wish i could be a robot girl

Huh. Fascinating. Just learned something about myself.

Love when my dysphoria gets so bad that I literally cannot contain the raw emotion and lash out at the stupidest provocation. This post brought to you by my sore hand that I used to punch the kitchen sink because I was washing my hands wrong.

Incredible job nailing the voice and cadence here

It's not quite at the absurity of that, but bumblebee just casually standing on anakin's podracer is truly something

Those 2 little lines are doing all the work here

I will say any sports fandom I have (which is pretty much just the Cubs and the Bears) is very casual, so I've never really bought into the various team rivalries too much.

010

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Been a lifelong Cubs fan, but the Sox are the only actual game I've ever been to (don't even remember what team they were playing, this is when i was like 9 or 10, so its been a while). So I do have a certain fondness for them.

My mind immediately went to sonic (bc that's where my mind always goes) and I'm not gonna lie a game where you play as sonic & friends and just annihilate hordes upon hordes of badniks sounds dope as fuck so i'm gonna say cooking mama

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I was 1000% ready to name myself sylvie after season 1. I'm glad I didn't, June fits me much better. But still.

I have like, 2 friends. If I tell them I love them everyday, they're gonna think I'm either high or about to kill myself

First openly trans character in the mcu and she's an alien bug lol

Like, this concept art is all kinds of gender

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Did you happen to catch that Miek (Korg's purple bug buddy who walks around using an exoskeleton) apparently transitioned between Ragnarok and here? In Ragnarok they use he/him, but in this one, Valkyrie clearly calls her "she". Also she's wearing very feminine business attire over her robot suit

120

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Ditto. By which I mean the pink/purple blob, not that mine was also seaking.

010

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I think it'd be neat if they did a *little* bit of what other m was going for during the initial "ridley steals the baby" scene, but then just full on "you killed my parents twice AND stole my baby" rage during the actual boss fight.

011

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I played through it for the first time last week and that was on my mind the whole time. Don't get me wrong, it's still an incredibly solid game. But I just couldn't help but think it could be *perfect* if Samus's movement and control felt the way it does in Dread

✨June✨ @pansquid.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Idk, I took it as her absorbing Quiet-Robe-X and gaining his ability to control Metroids (in this case herself) in the same way she absorbs abilities from the Core-X after boss battles
