pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Even walls fall down. I was musing about my mortality, not his. Great show. 020
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 27/09/2026I never heard of cultural cachet either, but I have heard of cognitive dissonance. I do know that Choosin Texas was not covered by Devo Friday night. Maybe they should add it. 000
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 19/09/2026He was a man possessed last night in Seattle. Only time I saw 3 hours plus of consistent energy and execution was the Boss. His recordings only begin to describe what he delivers on stage. 001
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 12/09/2026His notion of promoting unity was cutting taxes twice for the rich while prosecuting 2 wars. A budget surplus became a permanent deficit. Couldn't find bin Laden, either. Then there were Roberts and Alito. Katrina. The Great Recession. 090
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Back in the day. I could sometimes get a snowy Channel 43 or 61 in Youngstown. 131
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Grew up in Youngstown. Looked forward to the games, rides, and food. Place went sideways when the mills closed. The Boss told it better than I could. Can't have nice things anymore. 000
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 30/08/2026I read Wolfe's book and The Culture of Narcissism back to back around 1979. Who we were and where we were going. Quite a juxtaposition. 120
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 29/08/2026A hard song to destroy. I like The Tourists version with Annie Lennox. 310
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 25/08/2026I never had to travel to a trailer park in East Palestine. There was the parking lot of this venerable establishment. 100
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 22/08/2026OMG. I will be there as a Cubs fan. I am not worthy. 010
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 15/08/2026He didn't hesitate to call BS on bombastic crap. If Dave Marsh recommended an artist, I scraped together the money for the album. Seldom disappointed. 020
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Where does one even begin with that brilliant man? My fave is Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins. The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. Popi. Catch 22. 020
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 09/08/2026That was the one! I had seen The Band opened for Clapton at Three Rivers on July 5 and I knew Manuel was AWOL for one of the shows. Bless his tortured heart. 130
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 09/08/2026My most vivid memory is watching some dude fly from the upper deck. I think he believed the net behind home plate would catch him. It didn't. Read that he survived but broke his back. 120
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 09/08/2026I attended this one on July 31. Neil drew quite a response to Ohio. It was still on our minds. It's still on mine. 2122

pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 07/08/2026Great video! Only two things I miss about my home state of Ohio- cardinals and lightning bugs. 000

pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I interacted with some Chicago cops in the 70s and would have preferred a chief who lived in Seattle. The nepotism was something to behold. 120
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Wasn't always this way. Sandy Koufax, being pro-labor, gave my dad his autograph when he was at a steelworker convention in Pittsburgh. Sandy is a mensch in my book. 030
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 27/06/2026I came out not knowing how long I had been in the theater. Cazale and Savage were equally masterful. 020
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 19/06/2026Love also did a very good version. Didn't Crosby "discover" this for The Byrds? 100
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 14/06/2026It was sweet seeing Clyde cheering them on at courtside. 000
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 11/06/2026This guy was playing the last time I could properly cheer the Knicks. 100
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 06/06/2026First time in Wrigley was April 1976. Hung over and freezing. Cubs were up on the Phillies 13-2. Ended up on the short end 18-16. Loveable losers indeed. 000
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 04/06/2026Downbound Train is a keeper. I overlooked the synth because I needed something light after the bleakness of Nebraska. 100
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 31/05/2026Part of the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood playlist. I watched Tarantino films just for the tunes. 010
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 30/05/2026I was at this one a few weeks later. Fleetwood Mac didn't remain 2nd on the bill for very long. 2192

pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 23/05/2026And I was always a Lennon kind of guy. Paul was awesome last night. 020
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 20/05/2026Best damned high school assembly I attended. A couple years before she made it big. Sounded like Joan Baez. 010
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 19/05/2026I cut to the chase and went for Various Artists. The Last Stiff Compilation. Wanna Buy a Bridge. Urgh! A Music War. Seattle Syndrome. 020
pangolin91.bsky.social @pangolin91.bsky.social · 19/05/2026I didn't do my 2 week Guard training in Yakima that summer. 010
