I had the privilege to work with the ✨NICEST✨ lady, Annabelle McCormack, who brought to me the most exquisite scene to illustrate! Please check out her new book Carved in Crimson, and if you're looking for art for your own book drop me a line:D

To celebrate May the 4th I thought I'd share these pics from my visit to Tataouine, Tunisia and the Skywalker homestead:D (For a heat intolerant Canadian on the brink of hospitalization, the exhausted baby camel in the parking lot by the vending machines was a moodXD) #StarWars #MaytheFourth

Wanted a new face for one of my costume design models!! Blocking out the areas, laying down washes of tone, then blending it all together is a process that brings me tremendous relaxation:P Every time I finish a big illustration commission I find it really helps me unwind <3

A breakdown of all the planes and volumes of a face in line art form, waiting for the tones and shadows that will create the illusion of realism!

My portrait of Spirited Away's mysterious dragon boy, Haku! Combining silver leaf with oil paint in layers of translucent wash, the complexity of this painting had my brain flipping around inside my skullXD Never my most popular art print but for all the struggle I'm so pleased how he came out <3

My artworks 'Negative Space I&II' which decry the criminalization of female anatomy and sexuality, have been taken down by the pearlcluthers at Etsy for nudity and sexualityXD (I'm sure they don't see the irony.) I have thus made them available via the new 🔥Forbidden Prints🔥 section of my website;P

I was never cool enough to play Final Fantasy as a kid so, at the ripe old age of 34, I watched FF7 Remake and Crisis Core. And they ✨ruined✨ meXD So I painted this little fanart as somewhere to put all my tragic fangirl fervor until the next instalment came out! Glimpse. 2022. Prints in my shop:)

Cloud of Final Fantasy 7 squints at the light through the apertures in his buster sword and gains a glimpse of things passed.

As a decent tax paying socialist and all round heathen, I have a satanic impulse or twoXD Were I to view Lucifer from within canon, as the avatar of all free thought, free expression, and pleasure, well, I'd just have to paint her as a woman. And I didXD Mephistopheles. 2015.

On dark and dreary days like this, with the autumn rain patting against my window, I something remember that The Last Jedi exists, and I feel all stress drain from my musculature. I guess I still am, and always will be, an utter and irredeemable #Reylo xD "Somewhere Between Worlds" 2019 #StarWars

My lovely client wanted her favorite characters painted in the style of Gustav Klimt, an artist I revere but whose technique utterly vexes meXD As discombobulating as the whole process was I really love how this painting came out (and it introduced me to the joy of #UndertheOakTree 💗) #Maxi #Riftan

At 60" tall 'Styx' is by far my biggest piece, yours truly standing only 2" taller:P And after 2 months working on her my shoulder socket's never been the same, but it was worth it. Special shoutout goes to Adam Driver on this one, just, you know, for being in the worldXD (Prints in my shop!)
