Tried few in isolated VM to see for myself what are people talking about and they're a typical slop software and its probably impossible to maintain it to make it usable. There is no real decompilation and rebuild to speak of here. I'm wondering if it's not an ad campaign for LLMs instead.

I'm fine with that as well, but the applications here is just a broken mess with nonfunctional buttons, check boxes that you need to double-click to mark and UI that spills over other elements and sub-windows that are just rectangles and not actual UI. getartcraft.com/apps

I catch the gist, but some jokes are based on blending with onomatopoeia, so for someone with just Spanish basics are far too complicated to understand. Cultural references are also tricky. I'm always impressed when non-native can get Polish memes with blending, bad orthography and cultural stuff.

I can browse and post from Anisota just fine. Why would I delegate access to my account with no visibility who can do what on my behalf? If I would need to setup PDS to not get banned by mods, I might as well host my own blog and other stuff.

Panda @pandaramble.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

In case someone suggests bsky.social/account to manage OAuth apps - Anisota had permissions and didn't showed here for me at all. This confirms vibecoded nature of BlueSky and while it's great because of people here, it's a disaster in terms of the code, infrastructure, management and moderation.

Actually knowing a new language feels like discovering a completely uncharted territory of cultures and media you had no idea existed. Also: regional memes. Absolute peak. I have mixed feelings about learning Spanish only because of how much good content from Brasil is published on bsky.

I have a personal theory that fluency in multiple languages allows for more refined expression of self. Since we somewhat think in these languages it gets rid of rigidity of a single one. During significant personal growth expressing in new language will enable that newly developed self quicker.

They didn't say in the email what they took down, but looking at dates it seems it was related to abject failure of US govt to protect their own citizens from terrorist attacks ignoring the warnings and probably something about US infinite wars and just looking for an excuse. boo hoo, poor us govt

So we're back to centralized accounts with BlueSky/Atmosphere just like you would use Google for everything and they could ban you with the ai tools with no real option to appeal. It *is* another google, since they can on a whim take away access to stuff you created. atmosphereaccount.com/apps

I was looking at @leaflet.pub and I think it's such a cool idea, but I can't publish anything without BlueSky login and BlueSky doesn't allow to manage OAuth apps once authorized. Checking email I noticed that I got 2 post takedowns few months ago(no in-app notification!) Account gone = blog gone

Wow, it really was just $30 in 1993 which makes it $70 in 2026. I like that there were so many shapes and styles. I'd personally prefer a different colour (sunny yellow + white?) or even transparent/dark transparent one, but that really makes sense for the avocado coloured kitchen from the 80s.

If you look closer there is indentation for your fingers to easily pick up the handset. Curve angles, colour contrast and shapes makes the design is really appealing. We obviously forgot how to design for human hands and how to make cheap stuff that looks this good.

They can't ban it until 10 am because it would destroy the construction sector, politicians and corporate managers.

Android app glitched so badly that I'm now running BlueSky in browser on my phone with custom JavaScript and CSS fixes + UI cleanup. Fixing it was pain in the ass due to all the vibecoding on front-end. For example: you can only upload "camera roll" media on mobile webapp by default - no file picker

At home we have 2 work macs and 2 work PC's and they just casually ate like 80GB earlier this month for just monthly updates and I don't need to look at the usage anymore. I still think it's insane that I had to and didn't had other options.

Panda @pandaramble.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

After 5 years I've got unlimited internet usage at home once again. 3 years it was 300GB then for 2 500GB per month and that was the highest mobile operator would offer. It feels crazy that I can now watch stuff at any quality I want. Middle of Europe, yet no fiber or cable.

Do the Wii games and embrace the empty eyes of WiiWare's Fun! Fun! Minigolf. It's a shame there were barely any minigolf games in the Wii. The other one is Carnival Games Mini-Golf and its like WiiWare slop but a full game. Courses and mechanics are fine, but the vibe sucks.
