For your alt-text, those are probably Chaetodon ulietensis, Pacific Double-Saddle Butterflyfish! I love them, they're one of my favorite butterflyfish species, and they're great at pest control in shallow coral lagoons.

Lady MacDeath the corpse flower! By the time I made it to see her she had mostly bloomed out and her stench was gone, however this was still an extremely rare and incredible sight. Unfortunately her most beautiful and dramatic state occurred at literally midnight :(
