Here is my homemade Advent wreath. My husband and I enjoy the journey through the weeks,as each candle is lit, until the culmination of the center one representing Christ's coming. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate.

I saw the sweetest thing today. My husband had a doctor's appointment, and Santa was in the waiting room giving out candy canes to the children. One little girl gave him a hug afterwards. With the crazy world we live in, it was nice to see there is still some joy and goodness around.

Hello, everyone. I have been on here for a few days and am finally doing my first post. Besides serious discussions on various topics, I am also appreciating times of good humor and lovely pictures of nature and space. So far, this has been a nice place to be, and I hope it continues to be so.
