turns out the boss in the quote is also here, just on a different route (and still without the copyright joke)

i'm surprised how much of this directly remakes the flip phone game. it feels like Taito really liked it and wanted to save it from obscurity... (except instead they picked the equally ephemeral medium of arcades :p)

"oh you're a mapper, it must be so cool drawing inspiration from stuff you love, like building or artworks" well uh ...

they should invent a long distance girlfriend who is nearby so you can see her a bunch and it isn’t a big deal

i keep misremembering his name as Jetstream Sam but that's a different guy. maybe he can race sonic too

030

racing crossworlds should add Sam Speed from Sonic X. he already has a car and everything

i didn't expect the "is this manga erotic?" line to be so early in lol

novels i started while flying: otherside picnic 10 (file 30): plain fun to read a spot-on depiction of being stuck in a dream and cycling between different scenes shuukura: a little slow but entertaining. honestly more concerned about miyagi's home life than what's up with her head (positive)

140

this hits different after seeing her career event about how she hates taking her glasses off around other people

0110

after all the headaches getting the digital boarding passes onto our phones we just asked for physical ones for the last flight. took like a minute

Ottawa is also nice! i could maybe actually live here if money wasn't a problem

Quebec is like really nice? granted we're staying in a pretty touristy area, but even looking out the taxi on the way there was a lot of greenery and nice architecture all around. big contrast to Toronto

did not expect Sweep Tosho's hat ears to not be her actual ears but parts of her hat which move mechanically. crucially Sweep herself doesn't know this
