I don’t think there’s “no upside”. It was a bit of a head scratcher fitwise but I think it was a pure talent play with not a lot of downside because they got off Jerami Grant. The upside is Ja comes off the bench and roasts second units and throws a billion alley oop lobs to Robert Williams.

Haha she left Modesto after HS and lived in San Francisco, DC and Portland. Mo is long in the rear view, she hasn’t even been back there. Yeah summer heat was one of the main reasons we didn’t go to Sac. Portland weather is far better.

I think most fans here assume Nori feels obligated to try Ja/Dame starting just to say they did it but that each of those guys will benefit more from being primarily paired with either Jrue or Scoot for more defensive flexibility.

My wife and I were living in DC 17 years ago and trying to figure out which West Coast city to move to - Sac, SF, Portland or Seattle. I’m from OR and she’s from Modesto. My FIL was pitching us hard on Sac. “All the cool young people are moving here” 😂

Ok so I just saw a clip from the first AB of the game last night. Apparently Rasmussen wasn’t on the roster for the title team, I thought he was. Rasmussen was crazy good in college and TJ totally derailed him. He threw a perfect game as a freshman against WSU. Great to see him start ALCS game 1.

three seasons! 2016-18. Rasmussen missed the whole 2018 season after TJ surgery but I think he was technically on the team and got a Championship ring. But they were definitely both on the 2017 team which was possibly the best ever team to not win the title.

holy hell, today is a complete validation for solid as fuck baseball with great old school fundamentals. Guards just ran a double steal with two outs on a 1-2 count and scored two runs on a Jo Adell hit through the left side. Great baseball
