My final work for the Labours of November zine with @palimpsestzine.bsky.social ^^ #pentiment

Digital artwork of Magdalene Druckeryn from the game Pentiment. She is in a snow filled scene, kneeling down on the grass outside a collapsed church picking snowdrop flowers, looking back over her shoulder towards the monastery. The centre image is framed by a black and white illustration adorned with madonna lilies and christmas roses, as well as panels of ash tree branches. At the top it says "Nun, das war der Winter. Jetzt ist frühling.", at the bottom it says "Wie alle müssen versuchen wieder zu leben."

"To have no more running to do…to have arrived, and have no more need to run. The appetite changes. Now I think it would be a beautiful thing to be still.” - A Rare Benedictine: The Advent Of Brother Cadfael My final piece for @palimpsestzine.bsky.social❤️ #myart #illustration #pentiment

A watercolor and color pencil illustration with a diptych-styled composition. The main center panel has an outdoor setting of a monk onlooking his abbey from afar, on grassy hills. There is a sunset as well as large clouds illustrating a battle scene. The top two panels/corners represent the monk’s past. Left panel are bruised hands and right is a bandage over an eye. The border has vines and flowers. The bottom shows items of an infirmarian’s work station, including a mortar and pestle

it's nice to feel you're connected to those who came before you... 🍂 my piece for @palimpsestzine.bsky.social. it was a joy and honour to contribute again. if you haven't yet, please click through to the zine page and download for free - we even have a behind the scenes pdf :) #Pentiment

A digital artwork in the style of a medieval book of hours illustration with an ornate border featuring Til from the video game Pentiment. He is shown with his plough and horse in a field leaning down to pick up a small animal figurine sticking out of the soil. The Alps and the aqueduct are visible in the distance. A quote around the scene reads 'It's nice to feel you're connected to those who came before you, even if it's only by the land you live on'. The border below him features the villagers of Tassing, including Magdalene in the centre, pondering the clay animal with Father Thomas looking on. On either site of the border, a classical column and an iron age roundhouse allude to Tassing's ancient past.
