Aries, the main character of a novel I’m working on, looking up at the nightsky. I wasn’t too happy with the background of the original drawing, so I decided to redraw it from scratch. The nightsky is very colourful on this planet, and it’s biggest neighboring planet can very easily be seen.

A couple of years ago I made drawing of my sunkahetanka sona running alongside my pack, which is the most personal drawing I've made, and my favorite. So, I thought it would be fitting to make another version with my dhole sona as well. I’m very happy with how this one turned out.

I'm really hoping I will get to meet other therians one day, so I can finally just be my true critter self around someone for the first time in my life. It is so exhausting having to pretend to be someone I'm not all the time just to "fit in" around normies in real life.

Not long until autumn is here once again. It's already starting to get colourful outside. Autumn is my favorite season to go for long forest walks, which I am looking forward to alot.

I may not spend nearly as much time drawing as I used to these days, but I'm very glad I've managed to keep my artistic hobby alive. Working on my novels and artworks is such a great way of escaping reality, to just dive into my own fantasy worlds. I will never stop drawing, no matter how old I get.

There is something about african wild dogs that I find extremely difficult to draw. The fur pattern is so random and the dark face markings is super hard to capture. I don’t know if I'm the only one. I spent a long time on this one and I think I finally got it for the first time ever. Really proud

My dhole side have been unusually active lately. It comes and goes every now and then and stays for a day or two, but lately it has been a lot more active than normal. Not sure why that is, but I certainly don't mind my whistly side sticking around for longer periods of time.

Yesterday was World Dhole Day. For those who don't know, I'm also a dhole therian, but this side of me don't come out nearly as much as my main theriotype. My behaivor tends to alter ever so slightly depending on which one is "active", but my main species is easily the most shifty one for me.

As much as I like having a unique theriotype, I have to admit, it does get incredibly lonely. Worst part of having the soul of a canid, in my opinion? The social needs are strong. But somehow, I feel I like don't belong around other canid therians. Is me being "different" seen as a bad thing?

Spring might just be my new favorite season. I just love the scenery and the fresh scent of all the blooming trees and flowers everywhere, and the temperatures are so pleasant. I need to visit the forest I grew up next to more often, and just enjoy being surrounded by nature and relax.

Having to constantly act like a "normal" human around friends, family and anyone else in real life is incredibly draining emotionally. I'm getting close to my 40's, and not once have I been able to just be my true self. I hate having to hide my animal side all the time, it feels so unnatural for me.
