I took a second crack at an old piece and it came out much better the second time around. Designed as a 4 part screenprint if I should ever have those opportunities again. #art #tigers

Digital mockup art of a four color screenprint. Depicts a blocky tiger whose shapes are infilled with more decorative shapes. Artist signature reads 용기 Palaeo.

My family visited last week & it was a lot. My relationship with them is extremely complicated, but I think that was the first time that nothing had gone painful. I'm not really seen as who I am by them & having something that WAS me and something I valued looked at was...weird. #art #comic #artist

Page one of a multi panel comic. Panel one: anthro tiger character thinking to themselves, "One of my parents did something weird recently. I'm 39. I've been an artist a long...long time. Done it as a job for ten years. My parents do not ask me about my art. One of them a few years ago asked if I still made art. You know. My job. That one hurt."

Panel two: The anthro tiger character continues to think while staring at the sky, "For some strange reason I cannot fathom one of them actually asked me about my art. They said my other parent had told them my art was making money. They were impressed. It made money the whole time."

Page two of a multipanel comic. Panel one: the tiger anthro has a confused expression surrounded by question marks. They narrate, "I didn't get mad. I think I was too confused to register what was happening. So I showed them. The pewter. The mask patterns. The work files. The pyrography and carvings. They started asking questions. Showing them one thing prompted more questions. Often asking how I do it. So I answered those questions too. At one point they exclaimed in awe that the patterns had to be hundreds of hours of work. They are. None of it was new."

Panel two: a closeup of the tiger anthro's hand working on a cool skull drawing. They narrate, "It was really weird. I can remember being "warned" of calling demons with my art in middle school because I drew tiger skulls with blood tears. Cringe maybe, hardly demonic. I learned not to share and had no real interest in their approval anyway." A speech bubble from the tiger says, "Hee hee this is going to be so cool <3"

Panel three: The anthro tiger shrugs leaning upwards and thinks, "I have no idea what they thought I'd been doing these last 27 years. Decided it ultimately didn't matter."

Third and final page of a multipanel comic. Panel one: The tiger anthro sits upright and thinks, "It was nice. I didn't need it. I was put on this earth to make art whether it was seen or not."

Panel two: The anthro tiger character is running across grass and calling their two dogs, "You boys wanna go inside?". A final thought narration from the tiger is, "I didn't make all that stuff sitting around. If I wanna make more then I better get inside and get started."

He's a BIG BOY but of course rat snakes aren't that big around. Definitely 4ft at least. I don't have a ton of photos of him because when I'm handling him my hands are full, but I've scraped through my google photos backup and found some from a few years ago. He's grown since I first saw him.

They’re not more or less special than the other animals in my family. But there will never be another Oberon and never another Tiger Lily. I will never be in my 20s or my teens feeling so lost except for their light in my life again. I miss them.

I miss him. I hope Oberon would be proud his dog culture is passing down to Bombadil from Theoden. And satisfied that Theoden is getting from Bombadil the puppy torture Theo used to inflict on poor Obee.

Collies are weird in how mature their little faces look even as little babies. It completely throws off how old you think they are. I wanna say Bombadil was 14 weeks old in this picture.

To prove I am in fact still alive please view my glorious and youngest of sons. Tom Bombadil (the sable) just turned 6 months old and is finally less of a baby and kind of a person! Theoden loves his brother, but also wishes he had some class.

I’ll be getting back to folks this week. I hate it but ended up at urgent care. Thankfully with antibiotics & prednisone I can actually breathe now & have turned the corner. Ever since Covid I can’t get a little sick I apparently can only get nuclear sick. Bombadil’s training life starts this week.

I’m utterly blessed Tom Bombadil is an absurdly good puppy. All puppies are challenging, but he wants so badly to learn and copies the energy you give. Which is fantastic because I am sick as a dog. Day 3 of being bedbound with body aches, chills, swelled shut sinuses, and now chest congestion.

Tom Bombadil is home and so immediately begins the incredibly unfair affair of potty training. Don’t go? Ten minutes in the boring box while I hang out next door and then try again. Repeat until potty outside success. Then fun time in the puppy safe living room.

Well I might as well let the cat out of the bag after all the work I've done today; we are bringing home Tom Bombadil soon. Me, my partner, and Theoden are all not doing well with only one dog in the house. And what's a 2 year difference a service dog prospect? Plus gives me extra time--

Art is freaking hard. Enjoy the absolute MESS of how I use a sketchbook.

A two panel comic in the author’s sketchbook. The style is very sketchy graphite pencil with construction lines and mistakes visible.

The top shows their tiger persona hunched over a mouse using their left hand while their face is propped up on their right hand in front of a computer monitor. The text next to them reads “I rarely know how to start art on any given day. “

The bottom shows their tiger persona leaned dramatically backwards in the computer chair with a comical frustrated expression. The background balloon text reads “GAAAAAH WHY WHY”. There is normal handwritten text in the background that reads “this shit is hard. “

I feel a strange need to repost this art. Sometimes art needs reposting y'know? Like this art. Did you know lionesses sometimes take out their males when the pride is under intense pressure? Apparently bees, ants, & termites do this too. #art Available as a print! www.inprnt.com/gallery/pala...

Digital artwork with a square aspect ratio. It features six highly stylized lionesses in a pride circling a slain male lion. The male is shown from top-down view while the females are shown from a side view. The lionesses have mandala patterns in their fur. The dead male lion appears skinny and old. The style is similar to a vintage print on textured paper. The color themes are gold and red. The bottom right contains the artist's signature and the the word "yong-gi" which is a Korean word for courage.

Happy winter solstice to all; from this day onward the light only grows. #death #rebirth #art #cat #wolf #linocut #digitalart

A digitally created faux linocut print; there is a column with text on the left and a columb with artwork on the right. The entire piece is based on Mahler's Symphony No. 2. The text reads "You were not born for no reason. You did not live for nothing; nor suffered in vain." The artwork on the right uses a cat buried and growing a new tulip poplar above it to represent the remaining symphony text, "What has lived must also perish. What has perished shall rise again." Artwork is human made with zero AI.

Digital artwork of an anthropomorphic white wolf figure in a field of snow in the dark. The wolf wears a purple ruana pinned with a penannular. The wolf is highly stylized and the snow has faint celtic designs in it. The wolf is using their paws to shelter a single tiny flame on a pile of twigs while faint embers, dead leaves, and snowflakes blow around the wolf in the wind.
