I've been keeping off social media a bit lately but built these two Lego sets lately and was very happy with them. The miniature Lego Star Wars Death Star II 40th Anniversary of RotJ set and the Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon 25th Anniversary set. Very nice models to put together.

You definitely have you, you can feel it beginning to ramp up with each episode

010

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

It is brilliant, and you can really begin to feel the tension building up in the story too.

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

This is one hell of a season of @forcemajeurepod.bsky.social I am really enjoying it and it is a good way to spend a bit of a day off.

122

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

You do a great show that keeps those listeners like me engaged!

010

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

That is cool. It is great to see it still going strong.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Not bad at all! When will the 9 year mark be?

100

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Nice, it is great to have that built up for these situations and you say that but you are definitely one of the most consistent podcasts I listen too!

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

That's not too bad then. It seems like you got a good run of recording beforehand anyway.

120

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Most definitely in that case and hopefully recording can be rearranged for soon enough pending everyone feeling ok.

120

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

That is one upside of not recording and that is a nice set!

Bags 7 and 8 done between last night and this morning

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Really starting to shape up and I am loving the details.

010

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

And bag 6 is done and that classic shape is showing up.

Oh 💯 😂 I have missed Prinkle.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I mean that is tempting. It has been a while and it has been on my mind to do.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

It definitely does. I should make my way through a lot of Star Wars shows while building this.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Okay Bag 5 of the Lego UCS Millennium Falcon done and got the engine strips on. All done to the latest episode of @forcemajeurepod.bsky.social which a great start to the second act of this season.

I didn't get much time to share the progress of the weekend but here are "bags" 2-4 completes of the Lego Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon. 4 down 13 to go.

Thanks I am going to need it 🤣

010

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Oh it is definitely a big boi. For Father's day I am getting a display stand for it so it sits at a nice angle to not take up as much space. I now have until I finish the big to find a good place to put it.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

And "Bag 1" Done. Bag 1 was actually a series of many bags labelled 1 and there are 17 such sets.

Indeed and quite likely beyond as well when a tiny human has to be looked after as well, but I know what my evenings will entail for the next week anyway and I cannot wait.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

So it begins. About to start in on building this beast. The Lego Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Hahaha fair. I totally get that.

010

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Very very appropriate for Chopper. Oh sweet. That will be a lovely addition to it. I keep meaning to get a light set for some of the sets I have. Do let me know how it goes on!

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Feels very apt for a BB-8 as well.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

I do love those clever little mechanics in sets. They just add that something to it.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

That is a great way to decompress and it looks like a nice set!

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

Just finished watching He-Man and the Master's of the Universe and it is such a fun movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it and want to see it again now.

Lovely rainbow greeted us last night as we left the pub.

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

Happy Birthday! And that looks like it was a very fun way to spend it!

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

😂 definitely a feature. It was a fun experience.

010

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

It is in that there is no real recoil, just make sure there is no one behind you as you fire or else they are on fire!

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

I feel it is slightly easier to control it. It has been a while though. My only other real point of comparison were some older rifles which have a bigger kick in general. The anti-tank gun doesn't really count.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

It really does have those vibes and it feels it a bit when you are using it.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

I definitely get where you are coming from. It is a weird looking gun 😂 Felt weird using it for the first few times.

110

Pat Grogan @palaeopat.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

This was another great episode of @forcemajeurepod.bsky.social I quite enjoyed the reference to the AUG as I trained on them many many years ago.

Came home to a rather large Lego Star Wars delivery yesterday. I am very much looking forward to building these kits especially the UCS Millennium Falcon

Today was a day well spent building the Lego Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer and now to watch the last two episodes of Star Wars Maul Shadow Lord.

Thanks and I genuinely think it is one of my favourite parts of these Starship kits. They really make a difference.
