Old film might still be okay if youre into artistic effects. And no one's shooting polaroid for how sharp and realistic the photos turn out after all.

an emotional meditation on modular synthesizer and other instruments. chord pad sounds are by MCO -> Phki -> Aphelion. spoken word from 'The New Atlantis', an 18th century poem by Delarivier Manley, performed by @hayhai.bsky.social <3 #synthsky

song i'm currently (slowly) working on, the drums are done by modular synth and plinky is working as an ableton external instrument for some synth stuff #synthsky

hey! thank you, i did. it was really fiddly, to the extent of having to pull the heatsink off the cpu, and apply thermal pads to soften the glue around the screen. but the instructions were clear and i'm just happy to have a working deck again

getting the MPC Bible, and working through it methodically. just trying to figure it out for myself wasn't really getting me anywhere i would just get frustrated with it.

⁂ lacie ⁂ @palaces.bsky.social · 15/01/2026

honestly it is a a bit like a little computer. but im not married to the whole dawless idea, and i like the mpc workflow. it gathered dust for ages until I finally made myself get good at it and fast at using it and now it's a lot more fun. and i like the CV outs too.
