i went to a furry rave and these are the only pictures i took. Ah well. It was fun & i got to dance a bit, see some nice suits and talk to some cool people, definitely glad i went

That sucks, good thing everyone involved walked away. When i went to a track day a few weeks ago I saw some nasty crashes. As long as the drivers are okay, the car can always be fixed

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I was just in CT a few days ago for a vacation and i live in NJ. Driving into rural NY and PA from CT was actually pretty nice, hardly any traffic and good roads. Once i started going back in NJ/NYC it became a traffic heckscape, but all the driving up to that was chill. Safe travels & cool truck

i finally got to visit Connecticut and spent a few days at limerock. I'll need to get the car prepped a bit with some better break pads + fluid and everything should be good to go for next season

I tried that sexy game about washing dragons, it's cute. First smut game i ever bought. Now it just needs some car dlc and my dream of playing a game about dragons fucking cars will become real

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

i saw one of these show up in my neighborhood earlier this year and thought the same thing, idk if they leased it or bought it. I will say, it's a candy neon orange color and does look interesting, it's might be fun to drive around

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I'll be 35 in a few months, my only regret is that i didn't party & go out more often in my 20s. Go out and do all the things and try to have a good time (within reason of course, don't be crazy or reckless about it)

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Best wishes to you and your health! Here's to getting a shiny new pair of cyberpunk genitals

That looks like an amazing event, if i ever make it to the west coast I'd love to visit Laguna Seca. Cool stuff

010

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

I got my refund for pre-reg, kudos to the furpoc team for processing the request so quick. I was planning a vacation to Connecticut around the time of the con so i might be in the area anyway. I can just get a day pass to check it out, idk. Halloween & a furry con is such a good combo

011

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

There seems to be hotels nearby so perhaps I'll still go, maybe something else will work out. I suppose worst case is i don't go and hopefully I'll get a credit for attending next year or something

100

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I tried booking a room for #furpocalypse but was unsuccessful :( I'll see if I can get a refund for pre-reg but in the meantime I'd appreciate any advice regarding alt accommodations, i do still want to go. How viable is getting a hotel in the general area and driving in each day? idk

110

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Thanks, i suppose if i really want to go i can get a hotel in the general area and drive to the main venue each day, I'll see if anything else works out

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Yo, congrats! I couldn't even get into the site for the main hotel and it wouldn't let me complete my booking for the overflow

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I got to the checkout page like 3 times but it wouldn't process my booking 😭

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Dang, I'm trying to book the room but it's not going through. I guess it's already full?

I use AI tooling for work frequently but it's mostly just for web dev/ui widgets with occasional infrastructure pieces. And we have many senior devs to keep tabs. For most basic things it's fine and imo it's nice to describe a system in natural language but i understand not wanting to use AI stuff

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

This was my first con and I was all over the place so i missed out on meeting you in suit, i still had a blast tho. Next time I'll make an effort to budget my time better and hopefully be able to see more fursuiters, say hello and get some pictures

100

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Awesome stuff, im only vaguely familiar with houdini from unreal engine, I've always been fascinated with procedural animations & simulations. I know of zbrush and topogun as well. i really should sit down and learn how to use some of these tools more, thank you

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Holy Lord, im glad you made it safe & sound, i saw your car in the parking garage and i had no idea. i shouldve tried to say hello. the car show was great but i left around 11, i was so tired. Hopefully i see u at the next con. I gotta plan it out better so im not running around as much

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

I think about what Alan Turing would think of the state of ai these days. Some ai usecases sound fine on paper but the implementation can be pretty lackluster in many of these modern systems and products. And i wish it wasn't a poisoned catch all term, machine learning, comp vision, etc are good

010

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

What kind of software tools do you use? I've used blender on and off for years for small things, basic modeling, animations, simple stuff. I like it because it's pretty much all python. Writing your own tooling in C does sound cool, but i only used c++ in school a long time ago.

After thinking about ANE, it'll probably be for the best to go another time. FD was a lot for me and if it's double the size i think it'd be too much, especially by myself. Furpoc should be good fun tho, maybe I'll go next year after i get more used to cons

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I still can't believe i finally did it and actually went to a furry con, i plan on going to furpocalypse in Oct for Halloween but I'm thinking about ANE now too...

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

@furrydelphia.org Thank you for an experience of a lifetime! i could not have asked for a better first furry con experience. Somehow it simultaneously met & exceeded all my expectations, from the bottom of my heart, thank you <3 Now I can't wait for next year's con!

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Yeah, it sucks. i fell and hurt my foot over a month ago and it's still bothering me :( I got some xrays and they didn't see anything and I'll get an mri next week. Hopefully i didn't mess anything up too bad, luckily I can still walk around, i guess I'll find out what's wrong next week

100

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

After seeing the movie adaptation a few times, i finally got around to reading this some years ago. It's a wild read, i mostly remember all the details about various products being sporadically tossed around. I thought the video rental bit was great, now if u excuse me, i gotta go return some tapes

010

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

excellent work, im going to my first furry con next month and this piece articulated some things that i have been in the back of my mind for years. I'm not religious but I still appreciate the exploration of community and support from the furry community, thank you for writing & sharing this

010

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I wish ai wasn't a poisoned term. i understand the negative sentiment and implications, but at the end of the day I'm ambivalent about its use, it's just another tool like anything else imo. That said, i understand why people see ai as a representation of all the bad stuff tech does

He is hoping to figure out how to get back home eventually, but for now, this dimension seems like a fine place to stay for a prolonged visit.

000

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

His small stature naturally lends itself to finding cracks in between dimensions, yet he doesn't always know exactly where he's going. Nevertheless, he tries to make the best of wherever he ends up. Sometimes he finds fortuitous gifts during his dimensional traveling, and other times, not so much.

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

He is an interdimensional traveler who accidentally ended up on this plane during experiments with fractal wormholes. He has chaotic neutral tendencies; despite a demonic heritage, they are ambivalent and aloof. Their attempts at traveling between dimensions have been met with mixed results.

Things like this remind me of that movie Gentlemen Broncos. I wonder what's the background with how this book was written and published. Nevertheless, those old sci Fi novel covers are pretty sweet

Yo, that's me! im glad I got to ask you this question at toomanygames. I actually got in contact with a maker that specializes in protogen and commissioned a head piece, hopefully it will be ready in time for furrydelphia. Regardless, i look forward to going and checking out the dealers den

I wish the people trying to force ai into everything took a more thoughtful approach when trying to use the tools, there's real benefit in the technology in certain contexts imo but it's not like a panacea. Ai should supplement people's abilities, not replace them

Del @paintfumes92.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

Ah dang, i forgot about this! I'd go today if I didn't have autocross early tomorrow and I'll be busy Sunday. Maybe I'll be able to swing by after the event tomorrow and check it out for at least part of Saturday. Looks like fun, hope you have a great time
