I was finally brave enough to begin tapering off my reflux meds. The first skipped dose returned my stomach to a fiery hell for 2 weeks. Finally got it under control after doubling the dose. Today its time to try again ;______;

I think the art will get better, I just can’t convince myself to sit still long enough to focus on art lately because I don’t HAVE to sit still for the first time in so long. I went from 15-ishm of activity a day to 75m *average* ;_; It feels great to be getting tangible stuff done. To have energy.

& I hit 9mos post-hysterectomy - I have only had 6 painful instances (probably new cysts), not weeks of pain! It’s so amazing to just LIVE. I haven’t been feeling artistic which sucks, but I have been fixing/updating our property every day. Moving my body isn’t an arduous painful task every moment!

I am doing so well I get to start attempting to taper off my meds. We’re hoping to quit entirely this year. My esophagus is in one piece again. It’s been a magical existence to eat without immediately being in hell. Ffff yeah. <3

Had to explain to someone-who recently retired out of the nursing field-that yes, a hysterectomy removing my uterus means they “took my womb out.” I know you don’t know until you know but… oof. How’d that one get by you for so long?

I felt worse while on lithium & then even worse after stopping. If it wasn’t utter nothingness, it was pure irritation writhing in my flesh. A miserable existence for sure. I think Theanine may have been the most help getting back into my own self again. I hope something helps it pass quickly since

I just had to keep functioning until I shook off “the hangover” one day I just realized I was kind of functioning again, fewer instances of self disgust. Then I finally realized I wasn’t falling into that hole & was back to “standard” depression swings. I hope it passes quickly for you.

I was on it for about 2yrs it took almost 3yrs to finally be less disgusted with myself with brain fog/memory holes/irritable existence. It felt impossible to care. & 5 years to recover from the kidney issues.

Testing results: allergic to a lot of things, but not as much as expected. (Yay!) My skin is just really sensitive. (Boo!) Officially allergic to cats. (BOOOOO!!) A targeted allergy test scheduled in a month. (eh, at least it won’t be 65+ needle pokes this time lol)
