The press of the ropes around his arms, chest, and thighs pulls him into a relaxation so bone-deep and all-consuming that it’s like being dragged under water. Not to drown, but to shut the overwhelming noise of the world out.

The restraints have enough room for the comfort of deep, even breaths and the mind-tingling drag across his skin with each little movement of inhale and exhale. Yet, they are still tight enough that all of Jayce’s senses feel contained, awareness limited to where the give off the ropes end. It should feel like being trapped, but all that is on Jayce’s mind is the blissful feeling of total peace. Jayce is safe to release his tension to be carried by the ropes around him, and in doing so submit himself entirely into the hands of the only person worthy of this much trust.

“All done, you did great, Jayce,” Viktor quietly praises him. He’s done with testing the blood flow to Jayce’s fingers—they twitch slightly in delayed response but Viktor’s touch has already moved elsewhere.

“Oh, that good, then? That was quick today,” Viktor murmurs, smile evident in his voice. He moves his hand from Jayce’s head down to wrap around his throat. There is no real force behind it, just the quiet insistence that makes Jayce go along with the movement, tipping his head back until it rests on Viktor’s shoulder behind him. Jayce sighs with the gentle pressure of Viktor’s weight against his back.

“So beautiful.” Viktor’s free hand trails along the indents of Jayce’s spine, fingertips playing over the small of his back.

“Perfect and all mine,” Viktor breathes the words into the crook of Jayce’s neck and seals them onto his body with a kiss. A shaky little sigh escapes Jayce.

Viktor hooks his chin over Jayce's shoulder, simply resting their bodies together, sharing the rhythm of two heartbeats. "Ah, my pretty, pretty boy, what do I do with you now, hm?" Viktor asks sweetly.

The cool fingers move from the base of Jayce's spine to trail over the curve of a butt cheek. Featherlight fingertips to sensitive skin, Jayce's breath hitches and his throat bobs against Viktor's hand around his neck. The ropes feel tighter now that Jayce's heartbeat is picking up. Still he is pliant, desire softened and a far away whisper in his hazy mind.
