Last week, I took my 15-year-old cat Shadow to the vet and she unexpectedly had to be hospitalized. She was on the brink of death due to kidney failure. BUT SHE LIVED, BITCH. She has end-stage kidney disease, but she fought to live a little longer and I will make our time count.

Three years ago, two men murdered one of my dad's coworkers on company grounds and traumatized much of the office staff who went to help him. After a unique trial, one got a light sentence and one got life. The lifer appealed and I found out today the charges and sentence were affirmed.
