I am still not super hopeful tho. 😭 Soo we'll see if I can troubleshoot it back to life tomorrow.

Ghost Flower 👻🌸 Comms Open~ @paeonygalaxy.bsky.social · 2h

Luckily, thankfully, I do have my little thermal, I managed to smack together a design I can use some of my 4x6 labels with and make some okayish packaging there (and thankfully the labels are a nice soft purple that goes well with my colors) Sooo not a total loss, until I figure out my big printer

Might just leave the printer off all night, means I don't have *as* nice of packaging for the charm I was trying to make packaging for but I do still have things I can use at least. 🫠

Turned printer back on...stiiiilllll getting the error. Sob. Gonna leave it unplugged again and maybe try one more DIY fix, but it may very well be cooked, chat. 😭😭😭

Granted, it isn't *super* surprising, it is over 10 years old now. 😭But still thanks for possibly busting when y'know I don't have money to replace you!!!

I guess at least my printer had the decency to critically malfunction *after* con season, but right when I was trying to make some packaging for stuff. 😭 Giving it some time to cool off and *maybe* hopefully it might work. I hope.

Well damn, I don't do comics, but image sizing regardless sounds pretty nice. Guess I might need to dedicate some time and get one started up. (I've heard of leaflet, I've just been procrastinating cause y'know "ugh not another plaaaaace" but of course can't have eggs in one basket etc)

It's not bad otherwise~ cause now I don't gotta worry about accidentally flipping it out from the apple brand magnetic case. (Yes I have accomplished this a few times, my clumsiness is astonishing 🫠) plus it has a hard back too so I feel a touch better about accidentally dropping the thing.

Got a new thinner case for the tiny ipad when I wanna draw but don't feel good to sit up (orrr I wanna watch things with the big boy ipad) while I have to pop it out a little to actually get the pencil attached (it has a slot for the pencil but mine doesn't fit due to the skin I have on it)...

Heads up fellow webcomic artists. A company called Macroverse has been contacting folks to transfer their comics from Tapas to their site. Not only is their site sketchy as hell, they'll create accounts 'for you' using your public facing information and branding to make it look like you're a member

thank you, and thank you for reading such a long text too ko-fi.com/bunbuncita

things have been quite depressing these past two months; my (already) disabled (ms patient for over 20 years) diabetic mom got a cancer diagnosis and getting there between exams and doctors depleted my and my family savings.

both her and my dad have been traveling 4 hours to the clinic they forced her to get her treatment on, once they get to this city i have to pick them up, pay for their transport, their food, get their booking going, go up and downstairs doing registrations and paperwork that never ends, hold her hand so she can even sit to get checked.

i started being her caregiver before i was even 8 years old and going back to this role, but with a new and maybe even more terrifying illness, has been mentally and physically exhausting to a point that has left me crying daily. i have no energy left, i cant focus on my own chores so i dont forget any of hers.

i would really appreciate your help even tho its painful to ask for it, knowing that having the money to cover some of the expenses would at least remove one thing to worry about, thank you so much

Yeah that's just not okay. Like sure delays happen (I can get that, I usually run into times of my body of course fighting against me and or maybe cons) but y'know *let people know* DX I mean obvs exceptions to the rule but generally, it is or at least should be common courtesy to reach out.

Yeah absolutely unacceptable. Like I barely can work on personal stuff when I have comms, just cause I feel guilty about it (unless I justify it being maybe another sample for something) otherwise only other thing i work on while working on comms is *other* work, like con/merch things or projects. 😭

Dunno the full story but from the snippet I just read I think you got every right to bring vgen into this, esp if it already took escalating *once* to get anything. :\ Def not cool and not a good look on that artist especially. (Cause if they're doing it to you, who else are they doing this to?)

some angels

sketches of unicorns and moon doves. the unicorn is a sheep-like angel beast with curled wool and a curved horn. the moon dove is a dove-like angel beast with two pairs of wings, one of which normally lays against its breast, and long tail feathers like a swallow.

text reads:
unicorn and moon dove. what distinguishes angel beasts like these from true angels is their physical bodies. (true angels are something akin to plasma, or perhaps radiation.)
angel beasts are characterized by appearing like animals, but they suffer none of the same needs as animals for food, sleep, or reproduction. they are creatures without wills of their own, and are employed for this virtue to perform necessary tasks for the church.

So again if you'd like to support me, I'd really appreciate it! I have an art book and chapter pdf in my shop or you can get throne cards!

Tyree page preview. Soldiers escaping through a forest on a deer and donkey. The bottom panel is a port.
