This isn’t to say chronic disease is easy. But it’s not always a bad sign that could’ve been fixed earlier from the environment, eating, etc. It is actually a sign that kids are living WITH their life-altering disease much longer

Yes! We take care of SO many kids who are NICU graduates, who might have never made it out of the NICU without science. While they are thriving, they still often have complex chronic needs.
