I love my gigantic oldschool pre-streetwear-ification Allsaints shirt that I thrifted for $5 and spent days oxicleaning a blood stain out of

Pioneer gear super underrated as a sound design instrument

Detouring from DJ set prep to exorcise some contemplative downtempo ideas from within my bones

I'm so glad Akai has never nerfed the insane feedback of the MPC's granulator effect because it's pretty much the only one I've ever used that can get this harsh and blown out and I love it dearly

I'm just going based on my gut. I'm sure there's something I'm missing on my steam or PSN library that has like 900 million hours but I'm just not thinking of it.

My 9 games. From top left to bottom right:

FEZ, Resident Evil 4, Yoshi's Island, Perfect Dark, Stardew Valley, Fallout New Vegas, DDRMAX, Portal 2, Rock Band 2

To be unfair to myself, these are full of even more CDs.

To be fair to myself, these are all from the library.

I'm really happy that they kept the time stretching in the new generation MPCs super janky

A very 2018 shirt and hat choice for me tonight

There was a good 5-10 minute mid section where he broke it down into just semi-random white noise bursts and primal screaming, which he performed from within the crowd of course.

Didn't really know what I was going to get from an EYE performance in 2026 but it was pretty much a DJ 光光光 performance updated with more modern singeli music. It was utterly incomprehensible and joyous and one of the best shows I've ever been to.

The ol' MPC "I turned X into Y" video

For the next (and ultimately final for me bc I dropped out) incarnation the professor worked with (i believe) another student to build a giant wooden NES controller that would control an NES emulator projected on an alley wall while we jammed on nanoloop android to provide music.

here's a pic from our initial incarnation of this idea. there's video of this somewhere but I have no idea how to find it

this mf with flac files has a 100kbps upload speed throttle on their end and it's so egregious i literally thought my ISP had started throttling me but no lol look at my dl speed with the bottom person.

I could immediately tell the third track was actually real. It's always the vocals that give it away. There's this weird smearing and artifacting in the air frequencies of vocals in like every single AI-gen track.

Padlock @padlockmusic.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

It became utterly chilling when he started whistling, humming, and singing along to the AI-gen generic Brazilian pop song that played next.

Obsessed with this Uber driver playing AI-gen Afro House.
