Was in the bank today. It's absolutely heart breaking to see elderly and infirm people being fobbed off to online banking

Aren't live streamed executions something that terrorists do?

Took a financial institution to the Belgian financial ombudsman because their automated systems denied me an account. Got a decision today that they're accepting responsibility and paying out GBP£200. Happy days.

Hey younger generation, back in my day we had a name for people like Ed Sheeran, we called them a sell out. It was useful term, you should bring it back.

I feel like the NTA could have avoided public transport fare increases just by not targeting me with podcast ads for student leap cards.

I didn't think it was possible for Ed Sheeran to transcend his overwhelming blandness to the extent that I'd actually be bothered having an opinion on him. But in fairness to him he's made me actively dislike him now.

Clamps are illegally removed on average 6 times a day in Dublin and nobody is ever prosecuted for it?! Guess i'm just a chump for paying for parking, I should buy an angle grinder and leave it in boot. www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2026/0907/1…

Damaged, removed clamps may cost €800k over three years
The cost of replacing clamps that are damaged or illegally removed from vehicles on Dublin streets could potentially be almost €800,000 over a three-year period, according to Dublin City Council.

Why do arcane and defunct tax form names persist. Doing a process that talks about a p21, a p45 and a p60, none of which have existed for years to the best of my knowledge. Next they'll be asking for my car's log book.

www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2026/0724/1… I admire the ambition but mother of god that's going to be one hell of a project. Given Irish rail's recent track record you'd have to wonder if a few passing lanes wouldn't be more of a reasonable thing to attempt.
