It is. I’ve been there, semi final defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford, it was spine tingling, but also sounding quite defeatist. When we finally lifted the cup in Cardiff, it seemed a defining moment of success for once, and the song seemed to die slowly from that day.

Aye, but the ‘rousing’ sounds of some of the grounds, when listened to in isolation are as drab as watching a Tony Pulis team, difference being historic relevance and fan buy in. Steel River has a lot of relevance but not the historic adoption, meaning the crowds not buying it.
