Community Survey
Alberta’s Premier’s Council on the Status of Persons with Disabilities would like to hear from you! The Premier’s Council is responsible for advising the Government on matters relating to the opportunity for full and equal participation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of life in the Province. The Council’s advice is informed by listening to Albertans with disabilities, their families, advocacy organizations, service providers, and Council members’ own lived experiences with disability. The Council is currently developing its next three‑year Strategic Plan (2026–2029). As part of this work, we are seeking input from the community to ensure the priorities reflect the issues and concerns that matter most to the disability community. For your reference, Council's previous Strategic Plan is available here. Please take a couple minutes to fill out the survey. We are requesting your input by Thursday, April 30, 2026. Please note that the information collected through this survey will be used to inform Council's newest Strategic Plan. This collection is authorized under section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA). If you require assistance or an alternate format, please feel free to reach out the Premiers Council Secretariat at pcspd@gov.ab.ca. Thank you for taking the time to share your input and help shape the Premier’s Council’s priorities for the years ahead!

From Zachary Weeks: "I’ve been hearing the same question over and over. What can we actually do about the cuts to disability services? Complaining online is not a strategy. Anger without direction is not a plan. If we are going to push back, we need to do it smart, and we need to do it TOGETHER 💚
