' Anakin—? No. That can't be— ' And her hands were resting against the hilts of her weapons, her eyes focusing into a glare. ' Skywalker was MY master. There is no way he could have a kid your age. '

' Your. . . Father? ' She rose an eyebrow at this. It was unusual that Jedi would have children, but not unheard of. ' I've never heard of a Jedi named Luke. Who was your father? I was once Jedi myself, I may know of him. '

She looked him over now that she was closer, eyes trailing over the hilt his hand was over. ' A lightsaber. . ? ' She took a step back, taking a defensive stance. ' You're not. . . a Sith, are you? '

' Lost? People don't come to Batuu if they don't know where they're going. ' She seemed extremely suspicious of the individual. It was a rare sight to see someone out in the vast forests of this planet. So she walked in closer. ' Luke, you say? What are you doing out here? '

' Just don't go dying on me, Skyguy. ' She placed her hands on her hips, smirking back. ' I've still got a lot to learn from you. '

Ahsoka was walking around, hoping to find somewhere with a connection to the force, in which she could meditate on recent happenings. That's when she sensed it, the presence was familiar. . . and yet strange at the same time. So, she called out, hand resting on one of her blades. ' Hello? '

' Master. . . ' She let out a sigh, then punched him in his good arm with a smile. ' You can always count on me, I may not be a Jedi anymore but I'm still your friend. '

( vii. ) i promise replies will come tomorrow i'm very overwhelmed tonight.

( vii. ) Me who literally just finished rewatching the CW movie as we speak.

' I couldn't stay out of this fight even if I wanted to. I refuse to live under Separatist oppression. . . and besides, if I'm not out there fighting, then who's going to cover for your mistakes? We both know you leave a big trail of messes. '

She rubbed her arm, letting out a sigh filled with regret, with sadness. She avoided meeting his gaze. ' It's not the charges that bother me, more that, despite my innocence, the Order didn't have faith in me, the blind trust I gave to the Jedi wasn't given in return. ' And now her eyes met his,—

She smiled at his confidence for a moment, only for her grin to falter. She missed fighting at his side as well. ' Well, I wish I could've learned more, but. . . Guess the force had different plans for us, Master. '

' I guess we've been stretched thin lately. But, I'm not a Jedi anymore. It's not my problem. ' She shrugged, sipping from the cup she held in her hand. ' Still, we won't let the Separatists win. '

000

She let out a relieved sigh upon hearing that, seemingly relaxing a lot more now that she knew he was doing okay. ' That's. . . good to hear. I'm glad he's still alive. ' She turned to the bar, holding her glass and leaning over it. ' You see, he was my master. I haven't seen him since. . . well—

100

' Well then, I suppose I better buy you a drink. ' She raised her hand and gestured, to which the bartender poured them both a drink and she slid the credits over the bar. ' Perhaps you'll know him, but. . . General Skywalker, how's he doing? ' She asked, concern clear in her voice.

000

Ah. There we go, someone finally approached her. Maybe her day could turn around after all. She spun the liquid around in her cup, looking the figure up and down with a raised eyebrow. ' I'm looking for information, but it seems I found something better. ' She placed the cup down on the bar,—

And thus, the young Ex-Jedi walked into the cantina, also on alert as she scanned for signs of anyone who could have information for her. Unfortunately, there were no informants to be seen, so she leant up at the bar, ordering a drink for herself as she waiting for any signs.

000

' Well maybe if your lessons weren't so boring, I wouldn't have skipped them. Besides, I learned through experience! '
